Mehdi Rajabian Transferred to the Hospital Again

HRANA News Agency – 7 political prisoners are on hunger strike with different demands, in different prisons. General health condition of some of these prisoners is reported to be bad. Rasoul Razavi and Morteza Moradpoor are respectively on the 40th and 13th day of hunger strike and have been exiled to central prison of Karaj and deprived of having phone call. In Evin prison, Vahid Sayadi, Arash Sadeghi, two artist brothers Mehdi and Hossain Rajabian, and Ali Shariati are respectively on the 28th, 20th, 16th, and 13th day of hunger strike. This is while prison authorities lunched a session and threatened prisoners on the strike. Mehdi Rajabian has been transferred to a hospital again for stomach bleeding. Vahid Sayadi was transferred to ward number 4 by prison guards. Hossain Alimohammadi, political prisoner in Tabriz prison, ended his strike after he accomplished his goal. Still there is no information about the fate of Mohammad Ali Taheri, who was reported to be on hunger strike.

An Artwork to Unite all Religions in Iran

HRANA News Agency – Ayatollah Abdul Hamid Masumi Tehrani who does Persian miniature and gilding, has offered a symbolic artwork which was made by himself and “carries a legacy of cultures and religions of Mandaean, Christian, Jewish, Zoroastrian, Baha’i, Yarsan, Shiites and Sunnis in Iran” with the aim of unity and equality.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayatollah Abdul Hamid Masumi Tehrani, artist living in Tehran says the artwork “carries a legacy of cultures and religions of Mandaean, Christian, Jewish, Zoroastrian, Baha’i, Yarsan, Shiites and Sunnis in Iran”. A Prisoner Died in Ghezelhesar Prison of Karaj

HRANA News Agency – A death row prisoner, 22, attempted suicide in Ghezelhesar prison of Karaj and died after being transferred to the hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a prisoner with drug offences, identified as Saeed Samsami, 22, attempted suicide because of the “stress inside the prison” and died after being transferred to the hospital from ward 2 of Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj. Mehdi Rajabian Transferred to a Hospital on the 12th Day of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Rajabian, imprisoned artist in Evin prison, was transferred to a hospital following stomach bleeding resulted from hunger strike. In another news, security authorities of this prison, has threatened prisoners on hunger strike and prisoners who signed the letter in support of these prisoners.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mehdi Rajabian, imprisoned artist, was transferred to Taleghani hospital, following stomach bleeding resulted from hunger strike on his 12th day of strike, on November 8. At Least 2 Prisoners Executed in Salmas

HRANA News Agency – At least two prisoners with drug related charges were executed in Salmas.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least two prisoners were hanged in Salmas prison, on November 1st. One prisoner was transferred from Uremia prison to Salmas. At Least 21 of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Supporters Remain in Detention

HRANA News Agency – Among detained supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri in Tehran and Isfahan, at least 21 people are still kept in prison in Tehran (Fashafoyeh), Women’s Prison in Qarchak and Dastgerd prison in Isfahan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), among those arrested at the rallies in support of Mohammad Ali Taheri in front of Baghyatollah hospital in Tehran, 15 people are still in detention. List 5: Male Prisoners Charged with Moharebeh with Sentences under 15 Years

HRANA News Agency – According to the changes related to Moharebeh (waging war against god) in the New Islamic Penal Code, those who have been convicted of Moharebeh based on the previous penal code, will now have the possibility for a retrial, commutation and release. Currently tens of prisoners in Iranian prisons are convicted of Moharebeh for different reasons, this includes at least 22 male prisoners who are sentenced under 15 years of imprisonment. The following is the fifth list published in regards to “Prisoners Convicted of Moharebeh” and is dedicated to this 22 male prisoners.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), there are currently at least twenty two male prisoners in Iranian prisons who have been convicted of Moharebeh for different reasons and have been sentenced under 15 years of imprisonment. Since 2013, According to the changes in regards of Moharebeh in the new Islamic Penal Code, these prisoners could apply for retrial. Many of them could receive commutations and reach their release soon and considering the long prison terms of some of them, it could provide them the possibility of being release.
