A Prisoner Died in Rajaei Shahr Prison / Additional Information
HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Marzban died last Friday in Rajaei Shar prison’s clinic. According to other prisoners, Mr. Marzban committed suicide because of being harassed by the internal manager. His suicide was accompanied with negligence of prison authorities which resulted in his death.

2 Kulbars Killed by the Border Guards
HRANA News Agency – Two Kulbars with the names of Borhan Alam Holou and Mostafa Mehrpoor were killed by border patrol in Chaldoran border and three others were severely injured.

25 Civilians Arrested in Ardabil
HRANA News Agency – On July 8, more than 25 Turkish (Azeri) activists were arrested by the police in the city of Ardabil. It is said that they wanted to hold a ceremony called ecotourism in Sabalan mountain slopes and in Shervan valleys.

Ebrahim Firuzi’s Mother Asks Authorities to Release Her Son
HRANA News Agency – The mother of Ebrahim Firuzi who is serving his imprisonment in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj, published a video and asked authorities to help to with Ebrahim Firuzi’s freedom.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), she referred to her blindness and physical problems, as well as Ebrahim’s situation and demanded his freedom.

Ebraim Firuzi Beaten While Being Transferred to the Court / Trial Postponed
HRANA News Agency – Ebraim Firuzi, Christian prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, who had previously announced that he would not attend the appeal court, was transferred to the court by the use of excessive force and was beaten by prison authorities. This is while the court session was postponed due to absence of one the judges.
