HRANA News Agency – Concerns are growing for the welfare of a Sunni youth who was arrested and taken to an unknown location ten days ago. There has been no news about his condition or whereabouts.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ahmad Sohrabi, the son of an executed Sunni scholar, was arrested whilst travelling with friends on 18 February 2014 in Iranshahr, Sistan-Baluchestan province of Iran. HRANA News Agency – More than 20 converts to Sunni Islam were arrested at a Qur’an and Arabic study meeting in the Arab city of Ahwaz, southwestern Iran.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least 20 Sunni men had gathered to study the Qur’an and the Arabic language in the house of one of the men in the Hay al-Thawra district on Tuesday evening. Sources say that security forces surrounded the house at around 10pm, before arresting all those who were present. The men were taken to an unknown location. HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahim Zadeh the political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin was inspected offensively by the police officer while being returned from the hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam(Assad) Ebrahim Zadeh, the labor activist was transferred to the hospital to treat his neck problems on February 18th but while returning to the prison he was inspected shamelessly by the prison guards being asked to be completely naked.
