Daneshpour Family: 7 Years of Imprisonment on Death Row

HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Daneshpoor and his son and Ahmad Daneshpoor, Motahereh Bahrami and Raihaneh Haj Ibrahim Dabagh, are members of a family who had been arrested along with their family friend, Hadi Ghaemi in 2009 and sentenced to death after a month. During the past 7 years that Mohsen and Ahmad Daneshpoor Moghadam are in prison, they have been diagnosed with many severe diseases like intestinal inflammation, IBS, and intestinal colitis. It is said that the medical commission has discussed their condition. Sometimes ago, Raihaneh Haj Ibrahim Dabagh was sent to furlough.

A Comprehensive Report on the Latest Developments in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – An estimated number of 50 political prisoners held in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj have been transferred to a new and security hall in recent weeks. There are the deprivations which have been imposed on prisoners in this hall where even the toilets are equipped with CCTV cameras. The situation has prompted political prisoners to protest. At least 16 prisoners are on hunger strike in a critical condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 53 political-security prisoners detained in hall 12 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj were transferred to a hall which was previously rebuilt and developed by security forces, with the presence of a large number of prison guards, without prior notice on July 30, 2017. The hall is equipped with a large number of surveillance cameras and surveillance devices, as well as the shields that separate it from the rest of the prison.The families of these prisoners in the wake of their concern about the fate of their relatives, had referred to the judicial authorities who are responsible for this issue but these efforts had not resulted. Hossain Daneshmand Sentenced to 10 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Hossain Daneshmand, political prisoner of Sanandaj prison, was sentenced to 10 years in prison by branch number 4 of the court of appeal of Kurdistan province.

Danial Estakhr Released from Shiraz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Danial Estakhr, a lawyer who had been arrested and taken to the prison of Shiraz, on charge of insulting the leader, was charged in another case, and his detention continued. Eventually, he was released from prison in the presence of a number of lawyers at Marvdasht court, depositing the requested bail amount.

Navid Khanjani Was Not Released, Has to Serve Another Year

HRANA News Agency – After 5 years in prison, while prison documents were showing that Navid Khanjani, education rights activist, was going to be released, he was told that one year in prison sentence for his case in Sarand camp in Tabriz, regarding helping victims of the earthquake had been executed and he should serve another year in prison.

Vahid Sayadi Nasiri Exiled to Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Vahid Sayadi Nasiri, political prisoner of ward number 4 of Evin prison, who protested against the violation of separation of prisoners on the basis of their crimes some time ago, was exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj for unknown reasons.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Vahid Sayadi Nasiri, political prisoner of ward number 4 of Evin prison was exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj for unknown reason on Tuesday, June 13.
Mr. Nasiri had several times complained and criticized authorities regarding the violation of separation of prisoners act, and demanded to be transferred to political prisoners’ ward.
Vahid Nasiri, political prisoner who had previously been sentenced to 5, 2 and 1 years in prison on charges of blasphemy, insulting the supreme leader, and propaganda against the regime by applying article 134 had to serve 5 years in prison, received new year pardon and his sentence was reduced.
Previously Mr. Sayadi had started a hunger strike on October 16, 2016, in protest to 13 months of undecided condition of his case.
Finally, after a long hunger strike, Vahid Sayadi ended his strike after his appeal court session was scheduled.

HRANA News Agency – Changiz Ghadam Khairi, political prisoner who has been exiled to Masjed Soliman in Khuzistan province, despite the physician’s comments regarding the need for critical health care and surgery operation, has been deprived of medical treatment due to interference of the intelligent service.
