HRANA News Agency – In accordance with the Annual Report of the Committee to Protect Journalists;  in about 10 countries which are most censored by the government, Iran is the seventh one.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the report states that Eritrea, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Azerbaijan and Vietnam have the most amount of censor before Iran and China, Myanmar and Cuba are after Iran. HRANA News Agency – Ghasem Exiri Fard, University lecturer who had protested in front of Khajeh Nasir University against his disqualification because of “his womanlike voice”, was beaten by the security guards of the University.

HRANA News Agency – Ghasem Exiri Fard, University lecturer, who has been disqualified for “his womanlike voice” ‘by Khajeh Nasir University, has attempted to sit-in in front of the headquarters of this University.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday during this lecturer’s sit-in, several plainclothes tried to prevent him from standing in front of Khajeh Nasir University’s office and threatened him that he was going to be hit and arrested. HRANA News Agency – Ebraham Firoozi, Christian convert and prisoner of conscience in Rajai Shahr prison has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

16 Prisoners Were Hanged in Mashhad and Birjand

HRANA News Agency – 16 prisoners with drug related charges were hanged in Mashhad and Birjand during April 16 and 17.
