HRANA News Agency – Shahram Chiniyan Miandavab, a Bahai shopkeeper from Tehran who is serving an 8-year sentence, and who is held in block 1 of Rajai Shahr prison, which is reserved for dangerous prisoners, was placed in solitary confinement on August 19.

HRANA News Agency – Ismaeel Hosseini, an Afghan –National has been tortured and allegedly beaten by prison guards at Zahedan Central Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) in Iran, Ismaeel Hosseini who is jailed for Narcotic possession and trafficking at Zahedan Central Prison was transferred to solitary confinement in the quarantine section. He resisted the prison guards when they attempted to disrespectfully probe him and was beaten and forced to lay naked on the ground for 4 hours. HRANA News Agency – There is no news about the condition of a Sunni prisoner awaiting execution in Iran who was taken to an unknown location last week after being beaten by prison guards in Iran’s Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Seddigh Mohammadi, a Sunni prisoner of conscience who suffers from psychological illnesses, was subjected to a brutal beating by guards within the prison last week, leaving him with horrific injuries. HRANA News Agency – Sunni prisoner of conscience Ghasem Abesteh, who is suffering from a kidney infection, is being deprived of proper medical care by officials at Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) in Iran, despite suffering from intense pain in his kidneys that has left him mostly confined to bed and unable to carry out daily activities, the prison infirmary has failed to provide treatment for the infection, instead prescribing only Paracetemol tablets.
