A Prisoner Died in Zahedan Prison

HRANA News Agency – A prisoner who had been detained in Zahedan central prison, died after several days of illness and being neglected by the prison’s health center. This prisoner was suffering from a heart problem and had received just a few stomach pills.

A Report about Mohammad Saber Malek Raisi’s Health Condition

Majid Asadi’s Physical Condition is Inappropriate in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Majid Asadi’s physical condition is reported to be inappropriate in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj. The prisoner who suffered from acute inflammation of the spine and the digestive tract, was transferred to the court in a very bad situation on November 5, 2017.

Heavy Bails Issued for 3 Prisoners in Zahedan Prison

HRANA News Agency – A 25-year-old prisoner from Saravan was sentenced to death on charge of Muharebeh through collaboration with opposition groups by the Revolutionary Court of Zahedan. Three other prisoners who had been charged with Muharebeh through armed action faced heavy and unprecedented bails.

Saeed Sangar Acquitted in a New Case

HRANA News Agency – Saeed Sangar, one of the oldest political prisoners in Iran who has been serving his 18 years impressment since 2000, has been acquitted of the charge of spreading propaganda against the regime in a case which had been recently formed against him.

Tensions Grow in Sanandaj Prison Because of Closure of the Gym

HRANA News Agency – Sanandaj Prison’s gym was closed down some time ago, and its absence has deprived the prisoners of the opportunity to exercise, which caused the protest of several prisoners of the prison. At the last objection by a prisoner representing the crowd, the authorities reacted violently at him and sent him to the prison clinic with the assault on the imprisoned prisoner. The prison clinic had stitch up 25 stitches to the prisoner and closed his hands in a way that it was likely to be broken. The prisoner is currently being held in solitary confinement for the purpose of eliminating the signs of the beatings.

A Report about the Situation in the Central Prison of Zahedan

HRANA News Agency – The central prison of Zahedan with a population of more than 3,500 prisoners, faces serious health and medical problems, including lack of access to medical facilities and medical services, as well as a double exclusion from health facilities. Prisoners of this prison suffer from many problems, such as non-separation of crimes and excessive populations. Their protests have had no results so far.
