The Popular Judge of Kurdistan Prevented from Traveling to Zahedan

HRANA News Agency – Hassan Amini, the popular judge in Kurdistan and the principal of the seminary of Imam Bukhari was prohibited from participating in the graduation ceremony of the students of Darul Uloom Zahedan by the Intelligence service of this city. Mr. Amini was threatened by this security department that if he would participate in the event, there would be problems for him.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the popular judge in Kurdistan was prohibited from participating in the graduation ceremony of the students of Darul Uloom Zahedan (Khatm Bokhari Sharif), by a threatening phone call from the Intelligence Office in this city. 3 Baha’is Sentenced to Prison Terms

HRANA News Agency – Three Baha’i residents of Mashhad namely, Khashayar Tafazoli, Shayan Tafazoli, and Sina Aghdas Zadeh were sentenced to one year imprisonment, on charge of “acting against national security by teaching the Baha’i Faith”.

3 Prisoners Ended Their Hunger Strikes in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hadi Asgari and Amin Afshar Naderi, two Christians and Omid Shahmoradi Sanandaji, security prisoner, ended their hunger strikes with the authorities’ favourable promises.
According to the report of Human Rights Atavists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), following the attendance of Mr. Bakhtiari, chief of the Attorney General, and Mr. Khairuddin, Deputy Attorney General, at Hall 12 of Evin prison, on February 14, 2017, and promising to solve the issues with the prisoners’ cases and advising them to end their hunger strike also warning signs of Omid Shahmoradi’d illness, this prisoner ended his hunger and medication strike, after 10 days. The Latest Status on Imprisoned Christians Arrested in Firoozkooh

HRANA News Agency – Amin Afshar Naderi, one of the Christian converts who are held in Evin prison since six months ago, has gone on hunger strike in protest against his status. Two citizens of the five detained Christians were released on the bail and three others are still in Evin prison.

Two Christians on Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hadi Asgari and Amin Afshar Naderi Christian converts who are detained in Evin prison, have gone on hunger strike in protest at the uncertainty in over six months after his arrest.

A Baha’i Student Expelled from the University

HRANA News Agency – Sogol Kazemi Bahnamiri, a Baha’i student who was studying in the fifth semester of engineering Urban Development at the non-profit University of Mashhad, was excluded from the final exams. This Baha’i student pursues from the Assessment Organization and the Ministry of Science officials were left unanswered.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Sogol Kazemi Bahnamiri, born in 1996, passed the exam in 2014, with student reference number 9721230972, and in the fall of 2014 began her higher education in the field of civil engineering at the non-profit University of Mashhad. 2 Christians Held in Limbo in Evin Prison for 6 Months

HRANA News Agency – Hadi Asghari and Amin Afshar Naderi, two Christian converts, have been held in an undecided condition in ward 4 of Evin prison, from about six months ago, and have not even been summoned for investigations. On the other hand, Mr. Asgari who has got kidney infection as a consequence of cold weather because he was denied to get his clothing, has not received any medical treatments.

A source close to the families of these two Christian converts has told HRANA: “Hadi Asghari and Amin Afshar Naderi, have been held in an undecided condition for more than six months, and even have not been interrogated. They have said if their situation would not be made clear they would go on hunger strike. Hadi Asghari has got infection on his both kidneys because of the cold weather. 3 Bahai Civilians Tried by the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Three Baha’i residents of Mashhad named; Khashayar Tafazoli, Shayan Tafazoli and Sinai Aghdaszadeh, were tried by the Islamic Revolutionary Court, in Mashhad.

According to the report of Human Rights News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the court hearing for Khashayar Tafazoli, Shayan Tafazoli and Sinai Aghdaszadeh, three Baha’i residents of Mashhad, accused with “propaganda against the regime through the Baha’i propaganda”, was held in Branch 8 of Islamic Revolutionary Court in Mashhad on January 28.
