Erfane Halgheh Followers Arrested in a Gathering in front of the IR Court / Pictorial

HRANA News Agency – On 25 February 2015, following the announcement of the hearing session for Mohammad Ali Taheri, hundreds of Erfane Halgheh followers (Interuniversalism Mysticism) protested in his support in front of Islamic Revolutionary Court. This protest was intervened by Police and plain cloths security forces that attacked protestors and arrested several complaining citizens.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), following the announcement of the hearing session for Mohammad Ali Taheri, hundreds of citizens and Erfane Halgheh followers (Interuniversalism Mysticism) gathered from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in his support in front of Islamic Revolutionary Court. Protestors had pictures and hand written signs in support of Mr Taheri but this peaceful protest turned into violence as it were intervened by Police and plain cloths security forces on the same location. Fariba Ashtari Begins Her 2-Year Sentence in Yazd Prison

HRANA News Agency – On Feburary 21, Mrs. Fariba Ashtari, a Bahai from Yazd, reported to the central prison in the city to begin serving a 2-year sentence.

Masoume Zia Sentenced to Lashes and Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Masoume Zia, one of the Erfane Halghe activists has been sentenced to 74 lashes and 1 year imprisonment.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Masoume Zia who was arrested in a protest gathering of Erfane Halghe followers in front of Islamic Revolutionary Court, was sentenced to 74 lashes and 1 year imprisonment in a hearing on 7 February 2015 at Islamic Revolutionary court on the charges of disturbing public order and public safety by attending an illegal gathering. Restrictions on the Presence of Attorney in Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Case

HRANA News Agency – Vahid Meshkati, attorney at law has been selected by the relatives and close family of Mr Mohammad Ali Taheri the founder of Erfane Halghe to represent his case and to defend him. However, the judge has violated “interpretation in favour of the accused” article, and adopted some other articles to stop Mr Meshkati from entering the defendant legal representative team.

10 Bahai Detainees Freed in Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – On the evening of February 19, ten Bahais were freed from Isfahan prison, after two days in detention.

A Christian Convert Released after Serving his Imprisonment Sentence

HRANA New Agency – Rasool Abdullahi, new Christian Convert, was released from Rajai Shahr Prison, in Karaj.

Extensive Raids in Tehran and Isfahan: 17 Bahais Arrested

HRANA News Agency – On February 16 and 17, security officers raided and searched the homes of Bahais in Tehran and Isfahan, and arrested 17 Bahais.

Peyman Mirzaee Transferred to Karaj Rajaee Shahr Prison

Alizadeh Tabatabaie’s Remarks about Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Case

HRANA News Agency – In an interview, Seyed Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaie the lawyer of Mohammad Ali Taheri (the founder of Erfan Halghe Mysticism), described details and the latest on his case  and announced that there will be a hearing for Mohammad Ali Taheri In the future  while mentioned that there is no fresh charges on his case.

HRANA reports that, in his interview with Mashregh, Seyed Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaie said: several days ago I had a meeting with Mohammad Ali Taheri and although some websites wrote that he was transferred and his location is unknown, he is at Evin Prison and he also has received a visit by his family. Farah Baghi Begins Her Sentence in Yazd

HRANA News Agency – Farah Baghi, a Bahai from Yazd who has been sentenced to one year in prison and a one-year suspended sentence, has reported to prison in Yazd to begin her sentence.
