HRANA News Agency – Hadi Asgari and Amin Afshar Naderi Christian converts who are detained in Evin prison, have gone on hunger strike in protest at the uncertainty in over six months after his arrest.

HRANA News Agency – Sogol Kazemi Bahnamiri, a Baha’i student who was studying in the fifth semester of engineering Urban Development at the non-profit University of Mashhad, was excluded from the final exams. This Baha’i student pursues from the Assessment Organization and the Ministry of Science officials were left unanswered.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Sogol Kazemi Bahnamiri, born in 1996, passed the exam in 2014, with student reference number 9721230972, and in the fall of 2014 began her higher education in the field of civil engineering at the non-profit University of Mashhad. HRANA News Agency – Hadi Asghari and Amin Afshar Naderi, two Christian converts, have been held in an undecided condition in ward 4 of Evin prison, from about six months ago, and have not even been summoned for investigations. On the other hand, Mr. Asgari who has got kidney infection as a consequence of cold weather because he was denied to get his clothing, has not received any medical treatments.
A source close to the families of these two Christian converts has told HRANA: “Hadi Asghari and Amin Afshar Naderi, have been held in an undecided condition for more than six months, and even have not been interrogated. They have said if their situation would not be made clear they would go on hunger strike. Hadi Asghari has got infection on his both kidneys because of the cold weather. HRANA News Agency – Three Baha’i residents of Mashhad named; Khashayar Tafazoli, Shayan Tafazoli and Sinai Aghdaszadeh, were tried by the Islamic Revolutionary Court, in Mashhad.

HRANA News Agency – Hamzeh Darwish, a young Sunni prisoner at Evin prison, who suffers from mental illness, was severely beaten and insulted by a hospital staff member and two soldiers. He was beaten somehow that one of his ribs was cracked and bruises are obvious on the body and his eyes. However, prison authorities have done nothing regarding his situation.

HRANA News Agency – 4 Sunni residents of Boukan, who had been arrested during mass arrests, on October 6, 2016 were sentenced each to 5 years in prison. The judge who has issued the sentences has considered their jogging as acts against the national security.

HRANA News Agency – Azita Rafizadeh is an imprisoned Bahai citizen whose 6-year-old son has to live with another family due to the simultaneous arrest of her husband, Paiman Kooshkbaghi.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Azita Rafizadeh was born in 1980 in Shiraz. She finished the elementary and high school in Tonekabon, but like other young Bahais, she was deprived of going to university. For this reason she finished her bachelor degree in computer engineering in Bahai Institute of Higher Education (BIHE), which was designed and targeted young Bahais in order to enable them to continue their education. The officials continued to ignore his complain and medical care. The family of the prisoner have been threatened by the intelligence officers on the condition of their son.
