A Civil Rights Activist Arrested in Kermanshah

HRANA News Agency – Security forces have arrested Farzaneh Jalali, civil rights activist in Kermanshah, while she was doing some administrative formalities in bureaus of registry, and transferred her to an unknown location.

A close source to Jalali family told HRANA’s reporter, “Farzaneh had a call from bureau of registry and when she went there, security forces arrested her.”

This informed source added, “after her arrest, security forces investigated her house and transferred her to an unknown location. Efforts to find some information about her condition had no result so far.”

Farzaneh Jalali is a former member of Islamic Association of Tehran University and former editor of Sobh newspaper in Tehran University.

She became number 6 in general exam for university acceptance in graduate degree, but she was rejected due to her activities.

It is said that one of recent activities of Ms. Jalali was following up the condition of Shin-Abad students who were injured.
