Day 27 of Sunni prisoners’ hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Prisoners of conscientious who are sentenced to death, entered to 27th day of their hunger strike.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Moulayi, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sedigh Mohammadi and Seyesd Hadi Hosseini are in hunger strike since Monday, November 4, in response to their death sentences and some other corporate demands.

 

One of the relatives of these prisoners told to HRANA’s reporter: “These six prisoners are in a concerning condition and authorities do not pay attention to their demand.”

 

He continued: “Families of these prisoners have requested for authority’s consideration, through a letter which is sent to Mr. Bakhtiyari, the vice-security prosecutor. Mr.Bakhtiyari has attached this letter to the file and sent it to Mr. Ja`fari DoulatAbadi but there is no response still and our relatives could be executed any time.”

 

He also added, “Today, all the families of these prisoners went to branch number 28 of the revolutionary court to visit the head of the branch, Mr. Mohammad Moghsehei, by whom all of the death sentences of Sunni prisoners of conscientious is emanated. But Mr. Moghisehei aligned with the court’s secretary, Mr. Mojtaba, did not respond and by insulting them drove these families out.”
