HRANA News Agency – Iraj Derafshi and Ugur Chalabi were sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by branch 15 of Revolutionary Court, while they were not allowed to get a lawyer.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on last Sunday, branch 15 of Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Salavati issued a court verdict against Iraj Derafshi (Iranian citizen) and Ugur Chalabi (Turkish citizen).
According to this court verdict, each of these two prisoners who were accused with espionage for Turkey was sentenced to 10 years while they were prevented from getting a non-appointed lawyer.
These two prisoners who are held now in ward 8 of Evin prison, wer arrested by Revolutionary Guard Intelligence in Tehran, Azadi square, and then were taken to ward 2A in early January 2012.
