HRANA News Agency – Rasoul Bodaghi, trade unionist who had been recently released from prison, was arrested by the security forces when he went to hospital to visit Mahmoud Beheshti Lageroodi, Imprisoned teacher who is in hospital.
Mr. Bodaghi was beaten while being arrested and he was charged by the Moghadas court and a bail was set for him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Rasoul Bodaghi, member of the Teachers’ Union, who recently, after enduring seven years in prison, had been released, again was arrested during a meeting with Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi, other imprisoned union activist, who is admitted in the hospital.
A close source to him, by confirming this news, said HRANA’s reporter: “An investigation was held in the Shahid Moghadas court, in Evin prison, and a bail of 700 million IRR was set for him.”
It is noteworthy, Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi, teacher and trade unionist prisoner, who was on hunger strike since 9th May, following the deterioration of his physical condition, has been transferred to hospital from Evin prison.
HRANA had earlier reported that, Rasoul Bodaghi, trade unionist, was arrested in November 2009, and due to his first case, he endured six years in prison, and for his second case he experienced more than five months of detention in solitary confinement in ward 2-A of Evin prison, and then he was kept in ward seven of this prison.
Rasoul Bodaghi faced a new case at the end of his six-year sentence in July 2015.
Rasoul Bodaghi recently after serving seven years imprisonment was released from Evin prison on 29th April.
