Reza Shahabi on day 29th of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi is in critical health condition after 29 days of hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi, the imprisoned trade unionist had been exiled from section 350 of Evin prison to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj on June 1st.

He is suffering from different diseases and has been on hunger strike since 29 days ago.

“Reza Shahabi is in critical health condition and none of the authorities have addressed his demands yet.” Said an informed source who wanted to remain unknown

“10 political prisoners were on hunger strike for 24 hours in solidarity with Reza Shahabi last week.” He stated

Reza Shahabi, the labor activist and member of Tehran and Suburb Bus Transportation Employees Syndicate has to serve four years in prison and has been banned from syndicate activities for 5 years and sentenced to 70 million Rials fines as well.
