HRANA News Agency – Attorney of Saman Nasim, a young man who was under age when was arrested and sentenced to death and his sentence was approved by the Supreme Court, is not allowed to pursue his case.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saman Nasim was under age at time of arrest and was charged with Enmity against God and has been sentenced to death and the court verdict was approved by the Supreme Court. This teenager’s case has been sent to the Law-enforcement office and he will be executed very soon.
An informed source in this regard told HRANA’s reporter: “So far, his attorney, Mr. Aziz Mojdehei has attended Law-enforcement Office to follow his case several times but the office secretary did not let him to have access to the case under the pretext that this case is a “security case”.
It is to say, Saman Nasim was born on 20th September 1994 and was underage at the time of arrest on 17th July 2011.
Saman Nasim was sentenced by the appeal court in West Azerbaijan province, with accusation of combat through membership in “PEJAK” party and the sentence was approved by the Supreme Court. He is now in ward 12 of Central Prison of Uremia (Darya).
