HRANews Agency – As a result of the Security Forces’ shootings near the border in the region of Marivan, two Iranian citizens by the names of Khobat from the village of Razav and Kiumars of Sanandaj were killed.

HRANA reporters note that Kiumars was first critically injured as a result of the shooting and, subsequently, after his capture near a river at the border was killed.

It is noteworthy that the Security Forces’ killing of Iranians living near the country’s western border is a common occurrence.This is while the Eastern border, which is a major corridor for large-scale drug trafficking, is much safer in comparison.
