Sunni hunger strikes transferred to hospital

HRANA News Agency – Following worsening the physical condition of the three Sunni hunger strikers of Ghezelhesar prison, they have been transferred to hospitals outside the prison.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), three of these prisoners, with the names of Kamal Moulayi, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani lost their conscious and were transferred to clinic, on Monday, January 6, around 9a.m.

 

After 6 hours, these prisoners were transferred to their cells, while they could not speak and again after half an hour they lost their conscious.

 

Then, they were transferred by stretcher to prison clinic and in an emergency form to the hospitals outside of the prison. They were not taken back to their ward, by the time that this news is being composed.

 

Meanwhile Hamed Ahmadi has put away 20 kg, Jahangir Dehghani 17kg, Jamshid Dehghani 30 kg and Kamal Moulayi 15kg during past 64 days of hunger strike.

 

These four Sunni prisoners of conscientious, who are in hunger strike since November 4, 2013, have requested for an open and fair re-trial.
