At Least 5 Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – At least 5 political prisoners namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Aimzadeh, Rasul Razavi, Mohammad Abdullahi and Ayat Mehr Ali Beygloo are on hunger strike in different prisons, in protest to their conditions. The physical condition of some of them is reported to be critical.

According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Azimzadeh, Rasoul Razavi, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, Mohammad Abdollahi and Ayat Mehr Ali Beygloo are still on hunger strike in Evin, Rajai Shahr, Urmieh and Tabriz prisons in protest to their situations. At Least 8 Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Dieferrent Prisons in Iran

HRANA News Agency – At least eight prisoners of conscience namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Azimzadeh, Maryam Naghash Zargararn, Mohammad Sediq Kaboudvand, Rasoul Razavi, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, Mohammad Abdollahi and Ayat Mehr Ali Beygloo are still on hunger strike in various prisons in protest to their situations. The physical condition of some of them has deteriorated. On the one hand doctors of Taleghani Hospital are trying to stop Mohammad Sedigh Kaboudvand’s Potassium shortage. On the other hand, Jafar Azimzadeh was transferred to the Shohada Hospital on June 1, 2016 following the deterioration of his condition. Moreover, the prisoners, Arash Mokri and Mohammad Amin Agoshi also were on hunger strike last month, but the continuation or end of their strike is not known.
