4 Sunni Civilians Sentenced to Imprisonment for Jogging Together

HRANA News Agency – 4 Sunni residents of Boukan, who had been arrested during mass arrests, on October 6, 2016 were sentenced each to 5 years in prison. The judge who has issued the sentences has considered their jogging as acts against the national security.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sunni citizens and residents of Boukan, with the names of Abdulghafoor Asouar, Yaqub Nooreh, Kamal Aliaghdam, and Haxhar Fareghi were each sentenced to 5 years in prison. 4 Sunni Civilians in a Bad Condition in IRGC Detention Center of Uremia

HRANA News Agency – Tens of civilians from Boukan were arrested by security forces, on October 6, and released on the bail gradually. However, 4 persons are still in detention centre of IRGC of Uremia in a very bad condition. Reports are stating bad behavior towards these civilians like beating and even torturing them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), security forces had raided in a cooperative operation to many houses in Boukan and suburb of Boukan, and arrested many. 4 Civilians Still under Detention of IRGC after 2 Months

HRANA News Agency – Tens of civilians form Boukan who had been arrested on October 6 by security forces, were released on the bail. However, four arrestees are still in detention centre of IRGC forces, in a bad condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on October 6, a coordinated operation was conducted by security forces, and many houses and rural areas of Boukan were raided. This raid which was along with beating, resulted in the arrest of many civilians. It was reported that the arrestees were young, juveniles and even Imams and their students in the mosques.
