HRANA News Agency – Two Afghani citizens were hanged on charge of raping by yesterday sunrise in Mashhad central prison.

According to a report by the Khorasan newspaper, these two Afghani young boys were accused of raping a 16 years old deaf mute girl in a half built building in one of the town nearby Mashhad in 2008.

One of them was the worker of that building and the other was the guard of the building. They were arrested after the family of the girl complained.

The criminal court of Razavi Khorasan sentenced them to death after some sessions of trial in which the lawyers defended these two and complained about the given sentence so the case was sent to the Supreme Court.

This report says: the Supreme Court confirmed the death sentence.

According to this report last Wednesday two other prisoners were hanged also on charge of raping a 13 years old girl in the same prison.
