Abbas Hossein Panahi Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Hossein Panahi was released on the bail after more than two months. At the same time, it has been reported that Afshin Hossein Panahi has been transferred to the central prison of Sanandaj. However there is still no information about the fate of Ramin Hossein Panahi, the prisoner who was shot and detained by the Revolutionary Guard forces.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after 66 days of being under arrest, Abbas Hossein Panahi, from Dehgolan was temporarily released on a bail of 1500 million IRR from Sanandaj Intelligence Bureau’s detention Centre.
At the same time, it has been reported that Afshin Hossein Panahi, another detainee of this case, was transferred to the central prison of the Sanandaj from Intelligence Detention Center.
A source close to the family of Hossein Panahi, while confirming these news, told HRANA that the family was still unaware of Ramin’s fate.
This source said, “The family is very worried about Ramin’s injuries. In the first stage, they only want to make sure that he is alive, so they went to all the judicial or security authorities, but the Ministry of Intelligence says Ramin is arrested by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Cops, but the IRGC says unlike this and refuses to answer.”
It should be noted that four members of a political party fell under the control of the forces of the Hamza Provincial Guards Corps on Thursday, June 22, 2017. During the conflict, three members of the party, Hamed Saif Panahi, Behzad Noori and Sabah Hossein Panahi, were killed, and the fourth person, Ramin Hossein Panahi was arrested while he was hit by three bullets in the waist and leg.
After the incident security forces arrested a number of the relatives of these 4 men including Afshin Hossein Panahi, Ramin’s brother in his own house on June 22, 2017, Anwar Hossein Panahi, another brother of Ramin on June 25, 2017, Zibar, Ahmad and Anwar Hossein Panahi, Ramin’s cousins, by on June 26, 2017, and shortly afterwards, Abbas Hossein Panahi, a close relative of the family.
Security forces released Anwar Hossein Panahi on the condition that he would leave Kurdistan after two days of his detention and go to Tehran and then three other detainees would be released, but Ramin and Afshin Hossein Panahi are still detained.
