A 3-Year-Old Child Killed by Security Forces in Ahvaz

HRANA News Agency – Raghad Savari, a 3-year-old kid was killed with the direct shot of the security forces at “Allawi Avenue” in Ahvaz and her mother was also seriously injured during this incident.

At Least 5 Prisoners Executed in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – At least five drug offenders were executed at the central prison of Karaj. At least one of these prisoners had a vague proceeding, and his family insisted on his innocence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), 5 to 7 prisoners with drug-related charges in the central prison of Karaj had been transferred to solitary confinement for execution, on October 22, and their sentences were carried out the day after. Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in Aug-Sep 2016

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of Aug-Sep, 2016 (Persian calendar month of Shahrivar, 1395). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be noted that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. Sohail Arabi Deprived of Furlough and Parole

HRANA News Agency – Sohail Arabi, prisoner of conscience, with a sentence of seven years and six months imprisonment, who had been arrested in December 2013, is being held in ward 350 of Evin prison. Relatives of Mr. Arabi believe that chasing his complaint against the internal websites as an “Accusation and spreading lies”, is the reason of continued opposition to his furlough and parole.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Soheil Arabi’s death sentence was dropped last year, and by the new sentence he was first sentenced to 90 months imprisonment and two years of religious studies to prove his regret and then his sentence of 90 months fell by 12 months to 78 months. HRANA News Agency – Poya Hossein Panahi from Dehgolan, was temporarily released after more than two months of detention, on the bail until the judiciary authorities’ decision will be issued.
