ITF Condemns Imprisonment Sentence of Reza Shahabi

HRANA News Agency – The International Transport Workers’ Federation condemned the imprisonment sentence of Reza Shahabi and by describing it as inhuman and illegal, asked for his unconditional release.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mac Urata the secretary of domestic transport of ITF said, “It is difficult for most of us to imagine enduring the relentless persecution experienced by Reza Shahabi – inhumane and illegal punishment simply for carrying out lawful trade union activities as guaranteed by universally declared international labour standards”. Mohammad Saifzadeh Released from Rajaei Shahr Prison of Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Saifzadeh, imprisoned lawyer and human rights activists, was released from Rajaei Shahr Prison of Karaj after applying integration of sentences and serving his sentence.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Saifzadeh, member of Human Rights Activists Association, was sentenced to 6 years in prison in two different cases. 2 Prisoners Transferred to Central Prison of Uremia

HRANA News Agency – Matin Khezri and Hossain Ahmadipoor were transferred from intelligence service of Uremia to central prison of Uremia during past days.

Shokoufeh Azar Masouleh and Puria Ibrahimi Sentenced to Imprisonment and Lashes

HRANA News Agency – The verdict of Shokoufeh Azar Masouleh and Puria Ibrahimi, two civil society and social activists was issued in branch 26 of the revolutionary court headed by Judge Ahmadzadeh on March 12.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Puria Ibrahimi has been acquitted of the charges of organizing the assassination of Judge Salvati and was sentenced to two years in prison and five years of suspended imprisonment and 30 lashes on chareges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic in favor of so-called human rights organizations and groups” and “disturbing public order by participating in illegal gatherings”. The 58th Number of “Peace Line” Published

HRANA News Agency – The 58th number of “Peace Line” journal, publication of Human Rights Activists in Iran, has been published. This issue of the magazine, is an overview on the “Human Rights Activists in Iran” on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment

“Peace Line” has asked the activists of civil society and human rights activists such as Dr. Abdolkarim Lahiji, Mehrangiz Kar, Shadi Sadr, Hadi Ghaemi, Elaheh Sharifpour (Hiks) and Mahmood Amiri Moghadam about their opinion about its activities. Motaleb Ahmadian Transferred to an Unknown Place

HRANA News Agency – Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner, was transferred from Sanandaj prison to an unknown place on March 8th and has not returned to this prison till today.

A Report about 3 Political Prisoners in Minab Prison

HRANA News Agency – Three political prisoners who are kept in Minab prison, have been sentenced to a total of 100 years. Three Kurdish political prisoners, “Mohammadhossein Rezaei”, “Kamal Sharifi” and “Afshin Sohrabzadeh” were sentenced respectively to 45, 30 and 25 years in prison and have been exiled to Minab prison long ago.

Majid Mohammadi Moin Released from Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Majid Mohammadi Moin was released from Evin prison. He had been imprisoned since 2011.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Majid Mohammadi Moin, prisoner of ward number 8 of Evin prison, was sentenced to four years in prison on charges of assembly and collusion and acting against national security. Ali-Reza Farahani Transferred to Ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ali-Reza Farahani, security prisoner at the Rajai-Shahr Prison of Karaj, has been exiled from Ward 2 (known as Darul-Quran) to Ward 10 of this prison.
According to HRANA’s Sources, Ali-Reza Farahani, security prisoner of Rajai-Shahr Prison following a tension with the prison officials, has been transferred as a punishment from Ward 2 (Darul-Quran) to hall 32 of Ward 10 of Rajai-Shahr Prison.
