At Least 8 Christians Arrested in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Following the recent pressures on the Christian converts and ideological and religious dissidents in Iran, at least eight members of a house church in Karaj were arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic. Pastor Saeid Abedini’s condition in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, remains worrying.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hayedeh Shadnia, Shahin Bashiri, Mona Chahardoli, Ismail Falahati, Nematullah Yousefi, and a man called Razmik along with at least two other Christian converts were arrested by the security agents in plain clothes, on Friday, 7th August 2015, while they had gathered to worship. Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in June-July, 2015

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of June – July, 2015 (Persian calendar month of Tir, 1394). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be emphasized that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. 2 Political Prisoners Transferred to Ward 8 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Two political prisoners named; “Javad Qanbar” and “Majid Matin” were transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison, during the last days.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), “Javad Qanbar” and “Majid Matin” who had already been arrested and were released on the bail and had been out of prison for a while, were transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison, for the execution of their sentences and to endure their imprisonment. The Judiciary Intended to Seize the Bail Put for Peyman Aref

HRANA News Agency – According to the warning issued by the executive branch number one from Evin court of area 33 of Tehran, Masoud Oliyaeifar, is mandated to summit Payman Aref to the judiciary. In this warning it is stated that if Payman Aref will not be summited, the bail will be seized as the property of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Kamran Rahimiyan Freed after 4 Years in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Kamran Rahimiyan, one of the teachers of the Bahai Open University in Iran, has been released from Raja’i Shahr prison, near Tehran, at the end of a 4-year sentence.

Bahai Student Expelled from a Private University in Sari

Malek Mohmmad Abadian; under Detention for 3 and Half Years

HRANA News Agency – After three and half years of detention of the Malek Mohammad Abadian’s family in Sistan and Baluchistan, the revolutionary court of Zahedan is denying to release them on the bail, although the Supreme Court has cancelled the death sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Zahedan’s judiciary is refusing to release the Abadian family on the bail, despite the promises and freedom of the others.
