A Prisoner Punished after Informing the Media about His Condition

HRANA News Agency – Roozbeh Karamjani, from Robat Karrim, who has been imprisoned on charge of insulting the leadership, was transferred to ward 6 of Rajai Shahr prison, which allocated to prisoners with violent crimes, because of informing the media about his condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Roozbeh Karamjani, who was arrested after 4 of his neighbors reported and testified that he had insulted the supreme leader, and was transferred to Rajai Shahr prison, on Tuesday 16th March, was transferred from ward 10 to ward 6, Hall 16 of Rajai Shahr prison, which belongs to prisoners with violent crimes. 3 Political Prisoners Address Recent Incidents in Khuzestan Province

HRANA News Agency – Heshmatullah Tabarzadi, Shahrokh Zamani and Khaled Hrdani, political prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison, wrote a letter to condemn the recent events in Khuzestan province and called Human Rights advocates to pay attention to this issue.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), three political prisoners, named Hashmatullah Tabarzadi, Shahrokh Zamani and Khaled Hardani, wrote a letter from prison, a copy of which has been given to HRANA, and condemned the repression oo Khuzestan citizens, and have said: “One of the Khoramshahr citizens, who had been oppressed by a governmental institution, has set himself in fire and following this sad incident, Ahvazi people protested to support this Khoramshahri kiosk holder’s rights and condemning agents who dealt with this issue. Two Bahais Begin Their Sentences in Yazd

HRANA News Agency – Mr. Eyman Rashidi and Mrs. Shabnam Motahed, a Bahai couple from Yazd, were arrested on March 18, and taken to the central prison in Yazd to begin serving their sentences.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr. Rashidi has been sentenced to three years in prison, and a one year suspended sentence, while Mrs. Motahed has been sentenced to two years in prison and one year suspended.

A Report about Mansour Arvand’s Status in Mahabad Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mansour Arvand, Mahabadi citizen, whose death sentence was rejected by the supreme court, is still waiting for retrial and final sentence.

A Political Prisoner’s Wife Was Fired from Her Job

HRANA News Agency – Shiva Dadashzadeh, Ali Rezaei’s sife, who was arrested on February, was fired from her workplace for what is called, interview with media regarding the condition of her husband.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mrs. Shiva Dadashzadeh has been fired from her workplace in PNU (Payam Noor University) of Karaj and Garmdarreh, for having interview with media and talking about the condition of her husband, Ali Rezaei. Latest Reports about Younes Asakereh’s Status

HRANA News Agency –  Younes Asakereh, Khuzestani peddler citizen, who had set himself in fire to protest harassment and destroying his stall by municipal officials,  was transferred to a hospital in Tehran, due to his critical situation.

The Prosecutor Refuses to Release Mohsen Mirdamadi and Mehdi Khodaei

HRANA News Agency – Judicial officials of Evin prison and Revolutionary Court in Tehran have informed families of Mohsen Mirdamadi and Seyed Mehdi Khodaei that as Tehran prosecutor, Jafari Dolatabadi, refused the implementation of Article 134 of the Penal Code, so they cannot be released although, based on the new law they are entitled to be released from prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), over the past few weeks and after judicial proceedings by the families and solicitors of Mr. Mohsen Mirdamadi and Seyed Mehdi Khodaei, two political prisoners from ward 350 of Evin prison, regarding implementation of Article 134 of the Penal Code, Judicial authorities of Evin prison and Revolutionary Court in Tehran have announced that  as Tehran prosecutor, Jafari Dolatabadi, refused the implementation of Article 134 of the Penal Code, so they cannot do anything about these two prisoner’s’ case and their freedom. Hundreds of Football Spectators Arrested in Khuzestan

HRANA News Agency – Hundreds of spectators were arrested by security forces during the match between Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia and Foolad from Khuzestan, Iran, at Alghadir stadium.
