HRANA News Agency – The music video “The last protest”, composed and performed by Amir Sarikhani was to the young daughter of Younes Asakereh, the peddler from Khoramshahr, who set himself in fire as a protest, in March 2015. Negar Parsaei has written the poetry.

According to report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Younes Asakereh, Arab citizen from Khorramshahr, set himself in fire in front of the municipal building of the city due to the confiscation of his fruit stand by the municipality and because of desperation, which led to his death in March 2015. HRANA News Agency – Esmaeil Shaverdi (Khanafareh), an employee of Shadegan municipality in Khouzestan province, committed self-immolation due to financial problems and after not receiving his salary for 6 months.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Esmaeil Shaverdi (Khonafareh), 30, married and the employee of Shadegan municipality, committed self-immolation on May 27 after not receiving his salary for 6 months. An Unemployed Man Committed Self-Immolation And Died In Ahwaz

HRANA News Agency – “Omid Rashedi Amiri”, 36-year-old Ahwazi citizen, in protest at unemployment and not renewing his job contract, attempted Self-immolation and burned himself, and died.

According to the sources of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Omid Rashidi Amiri, was married and had children. He attempted self-immolation on Wednesday 2nd October at 2:30 pm at the Trade unions office in “Ramshir”, after a verbal conflict, and then was transferred to Ahvaz Taleghani Hospital where he died due to severe injuries. 3 Political Prisoners Address Recent Incidents in Khuzestan Province

HRANA News Agency – Heshmatullah Tabarzadi, Shahrokh Zamani and Khaled Hrdani, political prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison, wrote a letter to condemn the recent events in Khuzestan province and called Human Rights advocates to pay attention to this issue.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), three political prisoners, named Hashmatullah Tabarzadi, Shahrokh Zamani and Khaled Hardani, wrote a letter from prison, a copy of which has been given to HRANA, and condemned the repression oo Khuzestan citizens, and have said: “One of the Khoramshahr citizens, who had been oppressed by a governmental institution, has set himself in fire and following this sad incident, Ahvazi people protested to support this Khoramshahri kiosk holder’s rights and condemning agents who dealt with this issue. HRANA News Agency –  Younes Asakereh, Khuzestani peddler citizen, who had set himself in fire to protest harassment and destroying his stall by municipal officials,  was transferred to a hospital in Tehran, due to his critical situation.

HRANA News Agency – Hundreds of spectators were arrested by security forces during the match between Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia and Foolad from Khuzestan, Iran, at Alghadir stadium.
