Disruption in the Gathering of Erfaneh Halgheh Followers in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – About two hundred Erfaneh Halgheh followers gathered in front of Evin Prison on Sunday, December 28th and demanded the freedom for Mohammad Ali Taheri, the founder of Erfaneh Halgheh (Interuniversalism Mysticism). The gathering was formed under tight security surveillance and was disturbed by security guards.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), protestors attended todays gathering in reaction to the reports about Mr Taheri’s hunger strike which has resulted to serious cardiovascular condition for him. Susan Tabyaniyan Begins another Prison Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Susan Tabyaniyan, a Bahai from Semnan, has been summoned to begin serving a one-year sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this is her second prison sentence: in May 2010 she was sentenced to 18 months in prison on charges of propaganda against the regime and membership of a Bahai organisation. 3 Prisoners Hanged at Central Prison of Zahedan

HRANA News Agency – In the morning of 27th December, 3 prisoners were executed at the yard of Central prison of Zahedan by hanging.

Ali Sallanpoor in Critical Health Condition in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ali Sallanpoor  who was transferred to hospital last week on Wednesday, was returned to prison due to lack of beds in hospital and as it wasn’t coordinated with hospital, and he is still in serious conditions in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Sallanpoor , political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, on Wednesday last week, was transferred to Shohadaye Tajrish hospital with handcuffs and shackle, to be seen by a surgeon and then to get necessary treatment. HRANA News Agency – The following is a monthly report summarizing the human rights status in Iran in November / December 2014 (Solar calendar month of Azar). This report has been prepared by the Office of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran. Considering the ongoing suppression and ban on independent human rights activist organizations in Iran, this report may not be considered a comprehensive and complete reflection of the current situation of human rights in Iran. Civil Rights Activists Arrested in Shahriar

HRANA News Agency – A group of civil rights activists who had planned to attend the anniversary of Mostafa Karimbeigi were arrested by security officers. Nasrin Sotoudeh, Narges Mohammadi, and Reza Khandan were among those arrested.

A Kurdish Civilian Killed by Border Guards

HRANA News Agency – Azad Etmani, Kurdish civilian from Deshowan village of Salmas, was killed by border guards’ direct firing.

Adnan Rahmat-Penah granted medical leave

HRANA News Agency – Adnan Rahmat-Penah, who is serving a one-year sentence in Adel-Abad prison in Shiraz, had been denied necessary medical treatment.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the Ministry of Intelligence withheld permission, but after two weeks, as his condition worsened, prison officials sent him for treatment without the permission from the Ministry of Intelligence.
