HRANA News Agency – Ahwaz Revolutionary Court sentenced four defendants of the so-called “Hamidieh Case” to long term in prison and three other defendants to death. The sentences were upheld by the appeals court. According to informed sources defendants were between 20 and 25 years old when they were arrested.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in 2015, there was an attack on police soldiers’ tent in Gombohe of Hamidieh city inspection by some people on “a motorcycle”. Ismail Afkhami Released from Central Prison of Tabriz
HRANA News Agency – Dr. Ismail Afkhami, one of the six Turkish (Azeri) activists, who had been detained in Ardabil about a month ago, was released on the bail from Tabriz Central Prison on June 8. Yones Rahimi, another detainee of this group had already been released a few days ago.

HRANA News Agency – Approximately one month since 6 Turk (Azeri) activists have been arrested, Habib Sasanian has stated in a short phone call with his family that he was being kept in the intelligence centre.
