Danial Estakhr Faces New Charges in Shiraz Prison
HRANA News Agency – Danial Estakhr who had been arrested and taken to the prison on charge of insulting the leader, was charged with “abuse of power” in another case while awaiting his freedom on the bail.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Danial Estakhr, an expert lawyer in Shiraz, was arrested on May 30, 2017 and transferred to Shiraz prison, while he had to be released on a bail of 500 million IRR for alleged insulting the leadership, he has been charged with “abuse of power” in a new case. Latest Situation of Prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison: Hunger Strike Continues
HRANA News Agency – An estimated number of 50 political prisoners held in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj have been transferred to a new and security hall in recent weeks. There are the deprivations which have been imposed on prisoners in this hall where even the toilets are equipped with CCTV cameras. The situation has prompted political prisoners to protest. At least 18 prisoners are on the 25th day of their hunger strike in a critical condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 53 political-security prisoners detained in hall 12 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj were transferred to a hall which was previously rebuilt and developed by security forces, with the presence of a large number of prison guards, without prior notice on July 30, 2017. The hall is equipped with a large number of surveillance cameras and surveillance devices, as well as the shields that separate it from the rest of the prison. Yusef Emadi Faces New Charges in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Yusef Emadi, a defendant of the “Barg Music Website” case who is at Evin Prison, has been charged with communicating with the media and propaganda against the regime in a new case. The case which is opened at a time when he is enduring his imprisonment, is currently in Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court. It was also reported that this prisoner was transferred from ward 350 to section 8 of this prison without any reason or prior notice.

Political Prisoners of Rajai Shahr Prison Transferred to a New Hall
HRANA News Agency – An estimated number of 50 Political prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj have been transferred to a new security ward. In this ward, where even bathrooms are equipped with CCTV cameras, there are more limits for prisoners. This new situation has prompted political prisoners to protest. 12 prisoners have gone on hunger strike and 6 inmates are in solitary confinement. Tensions in this ward continue.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), with the presence of a large number of prison guards, and without prior notice, about 50 political prisoners in Hall 12 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj were transferred to a place which has been built from a long time ago by the security forces. This site is equipped with a large number of surveillance cameras and surveillance devices, as well as shields that separate it from the rest of the prison. Hossain Mehrandish Released on the Bail
HRANA News Agency – Hossain Mehrandish, a lawyer who had been arrested by the order of the judge in branch number 29 during defending his client in Shahid Madani court was released by the help of a group of lawyers and putting the bail. After being arrested and beaten in the head, he was transferred to a medical centre because of a heart failure where he was again beaten by an officer of police station number 148 of Enghelab.
A close source to Mr. Mehrandish’s family told HRANA’s reporter about the details of that incident, “Mr. Mehrandish was few minutes late in a session that he had in branch number 29 of Tehran, and realized that the secretary was reporting the absence of the lawyer. Mr. Mehrandish told him: ‘I am here, I was just a little bit late.’ Despite that, that secretary told him that he was late. The judge sided with the secretary, but he responded that ‘I am a lawyer and I have no reason to lie. If you want to side with your secretary that is your choice.’ Then the judge ordered him out of room and the security of court arrested him”. Pressures Rise on Prisoners of Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Thousands of prisoners in Rajai shahr prison in Karaj, are suffering from health and respiratory problems more than before. That is due to the lack of ventilation systems after the closure of fresh air to the Halls and rooms in this prison. In addition, during the recent months, prisoners have reported the spread of headaches and nausea among prisoners following the installation of a large number of parasite devices in the prison.
