HRANA News Agency – Following the collective dispute, a number of prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison are kept in inhumane conditions in the solitary confinements and are deprived of basic sanitary facilities since March 21, 2016. The prison officials illegally returned some of these prisoners to the previous hall where the conflict happened and allowed the prisoners to beat them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on March 21, 2016, a collective conflict happened between the prisoners at ward 6 of hall 18 that ended in serious injuries for three prisoners and the death of another prisoner. Amir Amirgholi Ended his Hunger Strike
HRANA News Agency – Amir Amirgholi, political prisoner, ended his hunger strike after 18 days in ward eight of Evin Prison, in response to requests from civil rights and political activists.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Amir Amirgholi, left-wing political activists, who was on hunger strike since Saturday 9th April, to protest against his condition in prison, ended his hunger strike. Political Prisoners Kept along with Death Row Prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Despite repeated claims of the prisons and security officials of addressing the principle of separation of prisoners on the base of their crimes in prisons, a large number of political or security prisoners have been exiled to Rajai Shahr prison where is the whereabouts of prisoners of violent crimes, a batch of prisoners who are kept separate from other political prisoners in the prison suffer more than the others. At least 20 prisoners in the prison are kept out of the dedicated place to political prisoners and with lots of problems.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the Department of Prisons claimed to address the principle of separation of prisoners on the base of their crimes in Iran’s prisons. According to the head of the Department, the country’s prisons have general classification, for example Rajai Shahr prison belongs to prisoners of violent crimes and Tehran prison belongs to prisoners on charge of theft crimes, also the Department claimed to address this principle inside the wards, too. A Prisoner Died in Rajaei Shahr Prison in Karaj
HRANA News Agency – Medical negligence resulted in the death of Hosain Afrasiabi, a prisoner in Rajaei Shahr prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hossain Afrasiabi, 40, was transferred to prison clinic after taking overdosed medicine, but died due to medical negligence and delays in being transferred to the hospital. Jaber Sakhravi; In Urgent Need of Medical Treatment in Shayban Prison
HRANA News Agency – After two strokes, the condition of Jaber Sakhravi, 30-year-old security prisoner of Shayban prison in Ahvaz, is reported to be critical. He is serving his 14 years and 6 months in prison, since 2014.

Navid Khanjani’s Sentence Reduced to 5 Years
HRANA News Agency – The 12 years of imprisonment of Navid Khanjani, imprisoned human rights activist in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj has been reduced to 5 years in prison by the “aggregation of the rules”. According to the new sentence, he will be released within the next year.

The Latest Status of Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Case
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Ali Taheri, founder of the cosmic mysticism in Iran, is held in Evin prison on different charges since 2011. His lawyer announced in an interview with HRANA that his client’s 9 billion IRR fine was paid and requested the application of Article 134 for him. He believes the possibility of changing the detention to bail, becomes more serious by this action.
