HRANA News Agency – Saeed Matinpour, the writer and Zanjani journalist is in ward 350 of Evin prison continuously for the fourth spring and deprived from the least rights as a prisoner.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeed Matinpour sentenced to eight years imprisonment on charge of  connections with aliens and propaganda against regime, and he has imprisoned in Evin prison since July 11th of 2009 and deprived of furlough right. Mehdi Farrahi was kept in solitaire cell for weeks

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Farrahi Shandiz, the labors and teachers union activist who is spending his 3 years imprisonment verdict i Evin prison, in the past few months was transferred to solitaire cell twice and totally more than two months.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from Emdad Khabar, Farrahi Shandiz is in ward 350 of Evin prison since December of 2011. After chanting slogans in prison he was transferred to solitaire cell for twenty days as a punishment and then instead of moving back to ward 350 which is the ward for political prisoners, he was moved to hall 10 which is the place for non-political prisoners. Alireza Karami Kheirabadi is in coma because of Viral Meningitis

HRANA News Agency – Alireza Karami Kheirabadi, prisoner in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj due to critical health condition transferred to hospital and he is in Coma now.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this prisoner who is suffering from heart disease was recommended by doctors to hospitalize last week but because he did not accept to wear prison uniform, the prison agents moved him back to political ward. Zia Nabavi transferred to unknown location

HRANA News Agency – Security agents transferred Seyyed Zia Nabavi the imprisoned exiled student from Ahvaz prison to unknown location.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from JARAS, Tuesday morning the security agents summoned Zia Nabavi from Karoon prison of Ahvaz, took him away with themselves and inspected all of his personal belongings.

Asadollah Hadi is suffering of digestive system disease

HRANA News Agency – Asadollah Hadi the political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison is suffering of digestive system disease.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this political prisoner who had heart surgery recently, now because of the negligence in his medical treatment process is suffering of kidney-stone and digestive system problems in gut.
This political prisoner has various physical diseases which unable him to be in prison anymore and his medical dossier must be investigated in medical committee to consider his tolerance of imprisonment.
He is hospitalized because of heart surgery in the air force hospital.

Continuing the prevention of Mousavi and Rahnavard to contact their children

HRANA News Agency– Total prevention of call contact between Mousavi and Rahnavard with their daughters is still continuing and these two besieged are not allowed to be informed about anything related to their children.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from Kalemeh website, Zahra Rahnavard confirmed on the call with her mother on last Tuesday that they are not allowed to have any contact with their daughters.

18 political prisoners’ hunger strike turned the day 11th

HRANA News Agency – Eighteen political prisoner who were arrested on security charges started hunger strike since 11 days ago in Rajaie Shahr prison and Ghezel Hesar prison.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), six of the political prisoners sentenced to death and the rest of them sentenced to longterm imprisonment. Their hunger strike is in protest to transferring the six sentenced to death political prisoners to Ghezel Hesar prison and demanding re-investigating and fair trial for their dossiers.
Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Hadi Hossaini, Sedigh Mohammadi, Hamed Ahmadi and Kamal Mollaie in Ghezel Hesar prison and Ahmad Nasiri in Rajaie Shahr prison are the political prisoners who sentenced to death.
Also Sirous Hamidi sentenced to twenty years imprisonment, Jamal Soleimani to eleven years imprisonment, Jabbar to ten years imprisonment, Jamal Ghaderi to eight years imprisonment and Parviz Osmani to five years imprisonment are the names of the others who are spending their imprisonment in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj.
Besides of the above list there are some other detained in uncertain situation without trial and have not been sentenced yet. The followings are their names with their uncertain situation amount of time:
– Behrooz Shahnazari for forty five months
– Taleb Maleki for forty one months
– Pouria Mohammadi for thirty nine months
– Keikhosro Sharafipour for twenty six months
– Amel Diadashti for nineteen months
– Edris Ne’mati for twenty four months
– Mohammad Ahmad Sharifi for thirty four months
 

Iran: Detained Earthquake Volunteer Relief Workers Sentenced to More Than 18 Yrs

HRANA News Agency – 20 relief workers were sentenced to 18 years and three months in prison totally, in Tabriz Revolutionary Court.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), A group of volunteer relief workers who were arrested at an independent relief camp following last summer’s earthquake in northwest Azerbaijan have been sentenced to verdicts by Judge Hamlbar, ranging from six months to two years and six months.
Seyed Hussein Ronaghi Maleki: two years, Behrouz Alavi: two years and three months, Hamidreza Mosabebian: two years and six months, Vahed Kholoosi: two years, Bahram Shojai’i: two years, Farid Rohani, Seyed Hassan Ronaghi Maleki, Shayan Vahdati, Masoud Vafa Bakhsh, Houman Taheri, Sepehr Sahebian, Daniyal Hassani, Ali Mohammadi, Morteza Esmailpor, Mohammad Arjmandi Rad, Mohammad Eslamil Salmanpour, Mohammad Amin Salehi, Mohsen Same’i, Milad Panahipour and Amir Ronasi: six months for each.
A deadly earthquake in northwest Iran in August left hundreds dead and thosands homeless prompting volunteer relieft efforts by activists and ordinary citizens around the country.
The detained relief workers were arrested at an independent relief camp in Sarand when government security insisted on taking control of all relief efforts.
The court has found the relief workers guilty of “collaboration in assembly and collusion to commit crimes against national security.”
The judiciary had accused the relief workers of “trying to distribute expired food”, but the relief workers have stressed there is no evidence that any expired food had been in the camp and they have denied all the charges brought against them.
 

Ali Akbar Baghani sentenced to 1 year in prison, 10 years in Exile

HRANA News Agency – Ali Akbar Baghani, the secretary general for the Teacher’s Union in Iran, was sentenced to one year in prison and 10 years in exile to Zabol City, by branch 26th of Tehran’s revolutionary court.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Judge Pir Abassi at branch 26th of Tehran’s revolutionary court, sentenced Ali Akbar Baghani to 1 year in prison and 10 years exiled to Zabol, a city far in eastern south of Iran. This verdict was issued based on his case from 2010 on charge of propaganda against system.

Maryam Bahreman sentenced to 8 month suspended imprisonment

HRANA News Agency –  Maryam Bahreman bloger and women activists was sentenced to 8 month suspended imprisonment.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Maryam Bahreman, blogger, women’s rights activist, and member of the One Million Signatures Campaign, was sentenced to 8 month suspended imprisonment.
Maryam Bahreman, who has a blog by the name of Yek Varaghe Pareh Digar (another torn sheet of paper). was arrested May 2nd at her home in Shiraz by several Iranian security agents. After searching her home for three hours and confiscating her personal belongings, the security agents arrested her under the charge of, “Acting against national security.”
She was first taken to the Shiraz Intelligence detention center and spent 55 days in solitary confinement. On July 4th, she was transferred to Shiraz prison’s women’s ward. She was held in a cell with one other prisoner, separated from the other prisoners. In August she was transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison before being transferred back to Shiraz prison a few days before her release.
Bahreman was released from Shiraz prison on a 250 thousand [USD] bail on Thursday, September 15, 2011. She had spent 126 days behind bars.
