HRANA News Agency – Nahid Gorji, social activist, has been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by the appeal court and the sentence has been sent to the executive branch. The resident of Mashhad was released on the bail after a year of detention this year.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Nahid Gorji was arrested by the intelligence forces at her home on October 11, 2014 and after the inspection of her house, she was transferred to the revolutionary court of Koohsangi in Mashhad and then to an unknown location. After two weeks, the bail of 400 million thomans was issued for her, according to her family the amount was too heavy and they could not provide it.
