A Report On Atena Daemi’s Situation After 1 Year Of Detention

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi, civil activist has been detained in Evin Prison since a year ago while because of psychological pressures due to a long period of solitary confinement, she has got different types of diseases and has been sent to the clinic inside the prison and hospitals outside the prison several times so far.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Atena Daemi, imprisoned in the women’s ward of Evin prison, a year after the arrest and detention still remains in a state of uncertainty and because of stress due to a long period of solitary confinement and poor health condition, has got a variety of illnesses, and several times has been transferred to the clinic inside the prison and hospitals outside the prison. A Juvenile Offender Executed In Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – Fatemeh Salbehi, a young girl who was arrested at the age of 17 on charge of murder of his husband, was hanged in Adel Abad prison of Shiraz.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the execution sentence of Fatemeh Salbehi was implemented on Tuesday October 13 in Adel Abad prison of Shiraz, while it was expected that the judicial authorities would halt it considering the arrest of the defendant before the age of 18 and also new Islamic Penal Code that is being applied since 2013. HRANA News Agency – Although Maryam Akbari Monfared is eligible to use the Article 134 of the Penal Code, and despite the retrial of the case of this political prisoner, the Supreme Court has upheld the court verdict against Maryam Akbari Monfared, again, before proceedings and submission of her defense statement and the introduction of her attorney.
