Arash Sadeghi Transferred to Evin Prison’s Clinic

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, civic activist in ward 350 of Evin Prison, following the “deterioration” of his condition, was transferred to infirmary in Evin prison. The infirmary doctor insisted that he needed a protein injection, due to severe protein deficiency, which should be done in a hospital because of the risk of blood clots. This prisoner has faced chronic inflammatory diseases of the airways (asthma), bleeding in the stomach and intestinal colitis in the shade denial of medical attention, in the aftermath of hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), according to the prison doctor that examined Arash Sadeghi, this prisoner needs a protein injection, due to extreme protein deficiency because of his stomach inability to eat solid food and not be disposed of in the large intestine. The doctor has said that if Arash Sadeghi would not receive protein then his heart, liver and kidneys would suffer more than before. Arash Sadeghi’s Medical Dossier Missing in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – The doctor who examined Arash Sadeghi in prison, claimed that “all of his medical documents and records have been lost”. Mr. Sadeghi after the end of his long hunger strike is suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases of the airways (asthma), bleeding in the stomach and intestinal colitis in light of the denial of medical care. The prisoner is also prevented from meeting his wife Golrokh Irai who is held in the women’s ward of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a doctor went to prison for examining Arash and several other prisoners. He had visited Arash Sadeghi in a short time and asked him about the record of the endoscopic examination, echo and spirometry. He responded that he had done them previously during the strike. The Medical examiner also added that if he had done such tests already, it might be that his medical documents and records had been lost, because they were not in his medical case. The Sentence of Blinding a Prisoner’s Eye Stopped

HRANA News Agency – After the consent of the acid attack victim, the blinding sentence of Mojtaba Yasavoli was stopped and this prisoner was released. Retribution of an eye of Mr. Yasavoli was the first sentence in Iran after 56 years after the law was passed, and it was executed in March 2015.

Arash Sadeghi and Golrokh Irai Prevented from Meeting Each Other

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, prisoner of ward number 350, and Golrokh Irai prisoner of women’s ward in Evin prison are banned from monthly visits based on an arbitrary order of the prosecutor. This ban is applied while Arash Sadeghi is suffering from different diseases following a long term hunger strike, and is still denied by Sarallah corps of revolutionary guards from being transferred to hospital. This illegal deprivation has raised concerns about the health condition of Arash Sadeghi.

Osman Mostafapour; 27 Years Imprisonment without Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Osman Mostafapour, political prisoner in Urmia prison has begun the 27th year of his imprisonment without furlough. In 1994, He was sentenced to a total of 35 years in prison in two separate cases.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Osman Mostafapour, born in 1967, was arrested on July 14, 1991. He was sentenced to death on charge of murder by branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Urmia by Judge Javaheri. The sentence was commuted to 10 years imprisonment in 2000.
