HRANA News Agency – A prisoner with drug related charges who had been kept in solitary confinement in Birjand prison since several months ago, committed suicide and died due to mental pressure of solitary confinement.

HRANA News Agency – Yousuf (Mostafa) Kakehmamy, political prisoner in Urmia prison, in a phone call told his family that he had been exiled to Tabriz Central Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Yousuf (Mostafa) Kakehmamy, political prisoner, who had been called to the prison of Urmia Management Office by the internal management, was unexpectedly transferred to the prison guards’ office and was deported to Tabriz Central prison, with handcuffs, on April 20, 2017. Mostafa Salimi Serving the 15th Year with no Certain Verdict

HRANA News Agency – The case of Mostafa Salimi, death row political prisoner, has been under investigation from three years ago. He started his fifteenth year of imprisonment and was exiled last year from Saghez prison to Sanandaj Central Prison. This issue has created many problems for him and his family. It is to say that the reason for the exile had been announced as; “long-term endured imprisonment”.

Political Prisoners’ Letter about Arash Sadeghi’s Critical Health Condition

HRANA News Agency – Ismail Abdi, trade unionist and Yousef Emadi, imprisoned artist in ward 350 of Evin prison, in a letter to the head of Evin Prison, warned him about the worsening health condition of imprisoned activist Arash Sadeghi in this ward and called for addressing his situation and sending him to the hospital. Mr. Sadeghi suffered from numerous medical problems after the hunger strike and is being deprived of receiving adequate medical treatment.

A Report about Hunger Strikers in Prisons of Iran

HRANA News Agency – Reza Samiei Monfared, Hengameh Shahidi, Atena Daemi, and Esmail Abdi, four prisoners of conscience at Evin prison have been on hunger strike. At the same time, Seyed Hassan Hoseini, Ali Jahangiri and Hosein Yahyaei, three ordinary prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj have gone on hunger strike since the last week of April, and their condition is not good.
