Intelligence Ministry Do not Give Hossain Saketi Taremsari’s Money and Documents back after Being Released

HRANA News Agency – Hossain Saketi Taremsari, known as Stephan, a new converted to Christianity who was released after serving more than one year in prison for preaching Christianity, is still not able get back a considerable amount of money and his identity documents. The only response that he has received is “you’ll receive them when you become a human”.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hossain Saketi Taremsari had been arrested by the intelligence service of Bojnord on July 22, 2013 in Golestan forests. First he was transferred to intelligence service of Jajarm and then Bojnord in Northern Khorasan province. After 15 days in solitary confinement, he was charged with disturbing public order by preaching Christianity, and his case was processed in Aligoodarz court in Alborz province. (more…)

Parole Request of Behnam Irani Was Rejected

HRANA News Agency – The public court of Karaj rejected the request of parole by Behnam Irani, Iranian priest.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), branch number 7 of the public court of Karaj, has rejected the request of this newly converted to Christianity, in a letter that was written to prison authorities in March. (more…)

Three imprisoned priests will be tried again

HRANA News Agency – Three imprisoned priests named Behnam Irani, Raza Rabbani and Seyed Abdalreza (Matthias) Ali Hghnezhad will be tried again soon.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), recently, three prisoners, Rev. Mr. Behnam Irani, Raza Rabbani and Seyed Abdalreza (Matthias) Ali Haghnezhad, were informed that on Monday 24th November they will have a trial again at the Karaj Revolutionary Court, Branch 6. 18 years imprisonment and exile for 3 Christian Priests

HRANA News Agency – Three Christian Priests, “Behnam Irani”, “Reza Rabbani” and “Abdolreza Ali Haghnejad” were sentenced to 18 years imprisonment at Islamic Revolutionary Court.

Christian prisoners charged with offences which can lead to death

HRANA News Agency – At least two newly converted Christian prisoners were accused with “Enmity against God and state” and “spreading corruption on Earth” which can result in death penalty if it is proved in the court. Also, another person was charged with “Propaganda against State”.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), during the last week, “Reza Rabani” and “Abdolreza Ali Haghnejad” – two newly converted Christian prisoners- were charged with “Enmity against God and State” and “spreading corruption on Earth” at Karaj Islamic Revolutionary Court. Officials transfer Christian prisoners to different sections

HRANA News Agency – Prison officials have dispersed the newly converted Christian prisoners in different wards to block those inmates’ relationship in Karaj Central prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani, Hossein Saketi  Aramsary (Stephen), Reza Rabbani (Silas) and Abdolreza Haghnejad are the names of four converted Christians detained in the Central prison in Karaj. (more…)
