Comprehensive Report: Seven Days of Protests in Iran

HRANA -The Center of Statistics at Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRAI) has published a report regarding the recent seven days of protests in Iran which occurred from December 28, 2017 to January 03, 2018. Currently, we have reports on the extent of the protests and the names of arrested individuals as of January 09, 2018.

At the time of compiling this report, the Iranian State had not provided a conclusive report of the protests and it’s under currents. Therefore, this report should be deemed as a cursory review and a collection of the reports of the events rather than a singularly comprehensive one. A Report about Recent Arrests in Azerbaijan and Ardebil Provinces

HRANA News Agency – Following the protests in various cities of Azerbaijan and Ardebil provinces in response to the article published in the newspaper of “Tarhe No” and the continuation of the protests in recent days, a wave of arrests of protesting citizens in these cities has begun. The latest list of names or those who were arrested or released from custody and also, the latest status of 31 of these individuals follows.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after several days of protests in different cities of Azerbaijan and Ardabil provinces in response to the article published in the “Tarhe No” newspaper, civilians are being still arrested.
