The Latest List of the Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – In women’s ward of Evin prison, there are many mothers who are imprisoned with political and security charges. They are being kept in an inappropriate condition and without having sufficient phone call time, and very limited visits. The condition of this ward resulted in spreading of women and different diseases among the prisoners.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), currently 23 female prisoners, mainly with political and security charges are being kept in women’s ward of Evin prison. (more…)

One and Half Century of Imprisonment; Comprehensive List of 25 Baha’i Prisoners in the Provinces of Tehran and Alborz

HRANA News Agency  –Baha’is living in Iran are deprived of their basic human and civil rights due to their religious believe. Discrimination, demonizing, enmity, prejudice, hatred, persecution, murder and imprisonment are to name some forms of anti-Baha’i in Iran. Currently there are many Baha’I citizens imprisoned across the country. The following focuses on the imprisoned Baha’is in the province of Tehran and Alborz as one of the provinces with the highest number of Baha’is’ detention.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), currently at least 25 Baha’i citizens are enduring multiple bans and total of 160 years of imprisonment in prisons across province of Tehran and Alborz. Female Prisoners of Evin Prison Deprived of Proper Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – while sending political prisoners to clinics is always done with great difficulty by the judicial-security institutions, however, female prisoners, in particular women’s ward of Evin prison inmates suffer from severe deprivation, due to shortage of female security forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), to send prisoners to a hospital, according to the prosecutor’s order, the detainee must be examined by prosecution forensic and if approved then the transfer order will be issued. If there is a doctor who can cure the disease, then the prisoner will be transferred to prison’s infirmary, otherwise, will be transferred to medical centers contracted by the Prisons Organization. If families wish to transfer prisoners to another health center, they must make an appointment and pay the costs, after obtaining approval from the prosecutor. (more…)

The Newest List of Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – In the women’s ward of Evin prison where many mothers are being kept, it is not possible to make a phone call, visits are limited and there are many environmental problems in this place. This report gives the names, status and charges of 31 female political-security prisoners.

Political Prisoners Deprived of Visiting Their Imprisoned Family Members

HRANA News Agency – Some of the political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr in Karaj, whose siblings or other family members are imprisoned, too have monthly visits with them. But they were deprived of it for the second time, because of their refusal from wearing prison uniform and being in handcuffs and shackles.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on November 24, five political prisoners in Rajaei Shahr were deprived of having visits with their family members, due to their refusal from wearing prison’s uniform. (more…)

HRANA News Agency – In women’s ward of Evin prison, known as Nesvan ward, there are many mothers along with other women who are kept in a bad environment, phone calls are not allowed and visits are very limited. This report is trying to give an overview about the condition and status of 24 female political-security prisoners in this prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), currently, 32 female prisoners are kept in this ward with different charges, two of whom have financial charges and 30 of them are political-security prisoners. The Latest List of the Political Prisoners in Women’s Section of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – The following list includes the political prisoners of women’s section of Evin Prison in Tehran. These prisoners have been sentenced in total to more than 190 years of imprisonment.

Mother and son arrested in Tehran to serve prison terms

HRANA News Agency – Elham Faramani and her son Shamim Na’imi were arrested in Tehran on May 11 and taken to Evin prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), They face sentences of four and three years respectively. Security agents went to Shamim’s home on May 10, but did not find him there. (more…)
