HRANA News Agency – Saeid Sadeghifar, prisoner in Ardabil prison was release on 10th May, form Central Prison of this city, while physical condition of Morteza Parvin, one of the same case defendants, was reported unfavorable in the prison.

4 Prisoners Ended their Hunger Strike in Ardebil Prison

HRANA News Agency – By improvement in the situation and promises by the Ardebil prison authorities, four prisoners of conscience detained in this prison ended their hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Morteza Parvin, Mustafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Saleh Pichganloo, four Turkish activist who were on the 6th day of their hunger strike in separate calls with their families said that their condition had modestly improved and they were transferred to the general ward’s rooms and prison authorities had promised improvements in their situation so they have ended their hunger strike. Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Political prisoners such as Seyed Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Amir Amrgholi, Saeed Shirzad, Afshin Baymany, Masoud Arabchobdar, Farid Azmodeh, Iraj Hatami, Behzad Tarahomi, Saleh Pychganloo, Mostafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Morteza Parvin are on hunger strike in various prisons around the country with various demands. According to prisoners’ families in some cases they refuse to drink water. Hussein Ronaghi maleki’s father is one of those who has begun strike in support of his son in front of Evin Prison.

2 Other Civil Rights Activists Went to Ardebil Prison

HRANA News Agency – Said Sadeghifar and Mohsen Mohsenzadeh, two civil rights activists introduced themselves to Ardebil prison to serve three months and one day in prison. On April 5, 2016 also five other citizens in this city on similar charges had introduced themselves to the prison.

5 Civil Rights Activists Went to Ardebil Prison

HRANA News Agency – Five civil rights activists named Rahim Gholami, Ali Vaseghi, Ali Kheyrjoo, Morteza Parvin, Mehrdad Shahbazi and Behruz Shahbazi were sent to Ardebil prison for serving their three-months-imprisonment and thirty lashes sentences.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), each of these activists had been sentenced to three months in prison and thirty lashes in November 2015 on charges of “disturbing the public order and welfare by ethnic and nationalist slogans in the football stadium”. Appeals Court Upheld Sentences of 5 Civil Rights Activists

HRANA News Agency – The sentences of five Turk (Azeri) activists who had protested at the television program “Fitileh” has been confirmed by the appeals court of Ardabil province. According to the sentence each of the defendants should serve 91 days in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), judge Yosef Khodadadi of Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Ardebil had sentenced five of these activists on the charge of “participation in the illegal gathering and collusion to disrupt the national security against” to three months and one day. 2 Civil Activists Arrested In Ardebil

HRANA News Agency – Meysam Jolani and Morteza Parvin, two civil activists, after attending Branch 5 of the Public and Revolutionary Court in Ardebil, were arrested and sent to the prison of Ardabil.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), two Azerbaijani activists named Meysam Jolani and Morteza Parvin, who received the summons from the fifth Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Court in Ardebil, were present there, and after interrogation they were accused of disturbing public order and the prosecutor of this office issued an arrest warrant and arrested these two and sent them to prison.
