The Latest Status on Imprisoned Christians Arrested in Firoozkooh

HRANA News Agency – Amin Afshar Naderi, one of the Christian converts who are held in Evin prison since six months ago, has gone on hunger strike in protest against his status. Two citizens of the five detained Christians were released on the bail and three others are still in Evin prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Amin Afshar Naderi Christian convert in Ward 4 of Evin prison has gone on hunger strike in protest against his status since February 5, 2017. A Report on the Situation of Detained Christians

HRANA News Agency – After nearly three weeks, five detained Christians in Firoozkooh are held in Evin prison under detention. 17 Christians were present at the place where they were arrested (a personal garden), two of them were notified that they had been fired from their jobs after Intelligence Ministry officials visited their workplaces. Also according to the reports, two days after the raid of security forces, the garden which is a personal property, has been seized and security forces released abandoned animals of the garden and prevent the owner from entering it.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ramin Bet Tamers, Amin Afshar Naderi, Hadi Asgari, Mohamad Dehnavard and Amir Saman Dashti five detained Christians are held in Evin prison still. Increasing Pressure on Christians in Iran

HRANA News Agency – The pressures have increased on religious minorities in Iran in recent months. At least 31 Christians, including 3 citizens of Azerbaijan Republic have been arrested in Isfahan, Tehran and Firoozkooh. 19 of these are under detention and the fate of 11 people is not known yet.

No Information about 5 Arrested Christians

HRANA News Agency – After one week since the arrest of 5 Christians in Firoozkooh, there is no information about the place that they are being detained at. Their names has not been registered in any of Tehran’s prisons and efforts made by their families and lawyers had no result.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), there is no information about the status of Ramin Bet Tamers, Amin Afshar Naderi, Hadi Asgari, Mohamad Dehnavard and Amir Saman Dashti, 5 Christians who went for picnic to Firoozkooh, and were arrested by the intelligence forces on Friday, August 26. 7 Christians Arrested in Firoozkooh

HRANA News Agency – On August 26, seven Christian converts who had gone to Firoozkooh with their families were detained by the Intelligence Ministry. Two of these citizens were released immediately but the whereabouts and condition of five others are unknown so far.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on August 26, Ramin Bet Tamers, Amin Afshar Naderi, Hadi Asgari, Mohamad Dehnavard and Amir Saman Dashti with their wives had gone to Firoozkooh for fishing and picnics. Around 1:30 PM, Ministry of Intelligence agents attacked them and separated the men from women. Amin Afshar Naderi asked them for a warrant but they refused to show a warrant and beat him.
