HRANA News Agency – After the “Black Monday” when 37 Sunni prisoner under high security conditions were transferred to solitary confinements and the execution of at least 20 of them, currently 51 Sunni prisoners with different sentences including death row ones in ward number 7 are serving under stress and daily fear.

Sina Ghalandari Released on the Bail
HRANA News Agency – Sina Ghalandari, journalist from Koohdasht, who was arrested after being summoned for investigations on August 30, was taken to a hospital following severe weakness and due to a disease, and then was released temporarily on the bail, but still remains in the hospital. Mr. Ghalandari was acquitted during the investigations by the prosecutor but for unknown reasons, the prosecutor issued his detention order.

Prisoners under Pressure in Karaj Central Prison for Revealing News of Executions
HRANA News Agency – Following the execution of 12 prisoner in Karaj Central Prison and leakage of news to media, security forces have raided ward number 5 and after beating and threating prisoners, transferred at least 6 of them to solitary confinements for interrogations. Security forces are looking for the way that information has been leaked.

Evin Prison: Behnam Moosivand Injured / Ali Moezzi Exiled
HRANA News Agency – Following the conflict between few political and normal prisoners in hall number 10 of ward number 8 of Evin prison, Behnam Moosivand, political prisoner, was beaten and his head was injured. Ali Moezzi, other political prisoner of this ward was exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison for complaining about the condition to officials.

9 Arab Civilians Arrested in Khuzestan Province
HRANA News Agency – Reports indicate more pressure on Arab citizens, especially in the south of Khuzestan province. At least 9 civilians were arrested by security forces and there is no information about the status of three of them. Also, the revolutionary court sentenced a social activist and poet to two years in prison. Bagher Gholami’s family has stated that after 6 months from his arrest, there is no information about him.

The Newest List of Political Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – In women’s ward of Evin prison, known as Nesvan ward, there are many mothers along with other women who are kept in a bad environment, phone calls are not allowed and visits are very limited. This report is trying to give an overview about the condition and status of 24 female political-security prisoners in this prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), currently, 32 female prisoners are kept in this ward with different charges, two of whom have financial charges and 30 of them are political-security prisoners.
