Azeri Activists Met MP from Uremia
HRANA News Agency – A group of Azerbaijani civil activist, from West Azerbaijan province, had a meeting with a Member of Parliament of Iran (Majlese Shoraye Islami), and stated their objection regarding the recent detention of civil activists in their province, and against the prevention of International Mothers Language Day’s celebration.

The Fate of Saman Naseem and Other Prisoners of Uremia Is still Unclear
HRANA News Agency – Despite many reports and speculation regarding the status of Saman Naseem, Sirvan Naxhavi, Ibrahim Shapoori, Ali Afshari, Habihollah Afshari and Younes Aghayan, prisoners of Uremia prison who are facing death sentences and have disappeared since five days ago, the officials are still not providing clear information regarding their status. This behavior caused concerns about the fate of these prisoners.

21 Prisoners Hanged in Iran During 48 Hours

Restrictions on the Presence of Attorney in Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Case
HRANA News Agency – Vahid Meshkati, attorney at law has been selected by the relatives and close family of Mr Mohammad Ali Taheri the founder of Erfane Halghe to represent his case and to defend him. However, the judge has violated “interpretation in favour of the accused” article, and adopted some other articles to stop Mr Meshkati from entering the defendant legal representative team.

5 Prisoners Hanged in Iran, More Executions in Coming Days
HRANA News Agency – On Tuesday 17th February, 2 prisoners in Iranshahr prison and on Wednesday 18th February, 3 prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in karaj were executed by hanging.
