An Imprisoned Sufi Transferred to Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Amir Rajabi, Sufi prisoner in the central prison of Zahedan, since several days ago has been transferred to solitary confinement, because he has refused to shave his mustache and has gone on hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Rajabi, a Sufi from Kermanshah, who has been detained for ordinary crimes and is held in central prison of Zahedan, has been transferred to quarantine of this prison since several days ago, because he has refused the prison authorities’ order to shave his mustache and has gone on hunger strike. Ebrahim Firoozi still Imprisoned although his Sentence is Finished

HRANA News Agency – Ebrahim Firoozi, Christian convert, who has been imprisoned since 17 months ago, is still waiting for the judge Moghiseh’s decision, although his sentence ended on 13th January.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ebrahim Firoozi, Christian convert, who was arrested last time on 25th August 2013, formerly was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court in Robatkarim to 1 year imprisonment and 2 years exile to Sarbaz Town. More than 30 Trade Units Closed in Mazandaran Province

HRANA News Agency – Administration office to public premises in Mazandaran province has closed some Photo Shops for the alleged violation of regulations and failure to observe the Islamic affairs.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), during last week, Administration office to public premises, in two stages on Saturday and Tuesday has closed at least 30 trade units due to non-compliance with relevant laws and non-compliance with Islamic values. The majority of these trades were based in the cities of Amol, Babul and Ghaemshahr. There are a few Hear salons and Printers shops among the closed trades. Iran’s Supreme Court Revokes Sentences for Six Sunni Prisoners

HRANA News Agency – Iran’s Supreme Court has revoked the sentences for six Sunni prisoners, four of whom were awaiting execution, after admitting that there was ‘insufficient evidence’.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the Supreme Court admitted that there was insufficient evidence to uphold the convictions of the men, who had been charged with ‘Moharabeh [enmity against God] and acting against national security through involvement in the assassination of Mustafa Jang Zehi [a pro-regime cleric]‘. Saman Nasim’s Attorney Has no Access to his Case

HRANA News Agency  –  Attorney of Saman Nasim, a young man who was under age when was arrested and sentenced to death and his sentence was approved by the Supreme Court, is not allowed to pursue his case.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saman Nasim was under age at time of arrest and was charged with Enmity against God and has been sentenced to death and the court verdict was approved by the Supreme Court. 12 Sunni Men from Mahabad Arrested in Iran

HRANA News Agency – 12 Sunni youth have been arrested by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

5 Detained Activists Transferred to Public Wards of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daeimi has been transferred from ward 2-A of IRGC to women’s ward. Also, Asou Rostami, Ali Nouri, Mohammad Saeid Hossainizadeh Movahhed and Omid Alishenas are transferred from ward 2-A to the ward number 8 of Evin prison. Arash Sadeghi and Majid Moghadam are still in solitary confinements of ward 2-A and under pressure for attending in a TV interview.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Atena Daeimi, civil rights activist, who was arrested on October 11, by the strike of revolutionary guard forces, after more than three months in solitary confinements at ward 2-A, has been transferred to women’s ward, on Monday January 19. A Report about Chari Mohammad Moradov’s Situation at Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Chari Mohammad Moradov, the Turkmenistan citizen, who has sentenced to 21 years in prison in an unclear condition, on charge of propaganda against the regime by participating in protests after the presidential elections and espionage, is spending his sixth year in Evin prison, while he has been deprived of having a lawyer or any contact with his family.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Chari Mohammad Moradov, born in 1976, is a Turkmenistan citizen. He was sent to Iran by ministry of science in 1997, after being accepted as a scholarship candidate. He received his bachelor degree in political science from Tehran University, and was successfully accepted for scholarship for master degree in Diplomacy and International Organizations major, from School of International Relations of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
