Prisoners of Ward Number 6 of Rajaei Shahr Prison Were Beaten

HRANA News Agency – Prison guards sent prisoners of ward number 6 of Rajaei Shahr to yard for inspection in cold weather and without suitable clothes. When prisoners complained, prison guards have beaten them by baton, water hose and electrical shocker.

Atena Daemi is Still Kept in Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi, civil rights and children’s rights activist is still in solitary confinement after near two months, despite finishing the interrogation process.

Ali Moezzi in Solitary Confinement since Two Months Ago

HRANA News Agency – Ali Moezzi, political prisoner of central prison of Karaj has transferred to solitary confinement since October 12. Besides, he has been deprived of having telephone call and visits.

8 Hunger Strikers of Uremia Prison Sent to Clinic

HRANA News Agency – Eight political prisoners on hunger strike in Central prison of Uremia were sent to the prison clinic due to serious health condition, however after twenty-two day prisoners still continue on hunger strike in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), eight political prisoners of Central Prison of  Uremia named Alireza Rasooli, Ali Ahmad Soleiman, Ali Afshari, Shirkoo Hassanpour, Yousef Ka’kah Mami, Khazar Rasooli Ra’d, Mohammad Abdullahi, Abdulreza Rasooli, Sirwan Nazhavi were sent to the clinic because of serious physical condition due to hunger strike and clinic staff intended to give them IV fluids, but they refused to take it and despite their physical weakness, they were returned to their ward. Names of the Arrested Erfan Halghe Followers in Kish Island

HRANA News Agency – Mr Koroush Soleymani, Mr Adel Shirjang, Ms Ayda Izadi, Ms Mitra Godarzi and Ms Ana Masoumi are the Interuniversalism Mysticism (Erfane Halghe) instructors who were arrested on Friday 5 December 2014 in Kish Island.

According to the report of HRANA quoting from Saham News, those mentioned have been in custody and under interrogations and have been prevented from contacting their family until the time this report is being prepared. In addition, their families have been demanded to deposit huge bail amounts to the judicial authorities for the temporary release of their loved ones. Two Sunni Converts May Face Death Penalty in Iran

HRANA News Agency – Two men from Iran’s Ahwazi Arab minority who were active in preaching Sunni beliefs after converting from Shi’ism to Sunni Islam have been charged with ‘causing corruption on earth’, a charge which carries a possible death penalty in Iran.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 23-year old Hossein Saboori and 25-year old Sami Zebady Alboghobesh, have also been charged with ‘having contact with foreign [Sunni] political organisations’ and ‘having Salafi beliefs’. Peyman Kashfi Released from Prison

HRANA News Agency – Peyman Kashfi Nejafabadi, a Baha’i prisoner of conscience from Tehran who has served a four-year sentence in Evin and Raja`i Shahr prisons, has been released at the end of his sentence.

Nasrin Sotoudeh and Her Housband Arrested by Intelligence Agents

HRANA News Agency – Reza Khandan and Nasrin Sotoudeh were arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence agents when they were leaving their house. The gathering in front of the Lawyers Association was held in a security condition and the security forces took photographs and film of the participants.

Hunger Strike at Uremia Prison Is Still Going On

HRANA News Agency – Twentieth day of hunger strike of 26 political prisoners detained in the central prison of Uremia (Darya) passed while the authorities regardless of the strikers’ demands were trying to convince them to break their strike.
