HRANA News Agency – A trial was held for the new charges against Alireza Rasooli, political prisoner in Mahabad and there will be further sessions as well.
According to the sources of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), at this meeting, in addition to “propaganda against the regime”, inciting and taking part in recent protests in Mahabad were put on Alireza Rasooli, after he denied these allegations and said that in the date of the protests he was in prison, the judge wanted a rehearing and presence of an expert. Alireza Rasooli Faces New Charges in the Prison of Mahabad
HRANA News Agency – The authorities of Mahabad prison have rejected “punishment intolerance” order for Alireza Rasooli, political prisoner, along with opening a new case against him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Alireza Rasooli was recently charged with gathering and collusion against national security in Branch 2 of Mahabad court by the persecutor, Zaheri. 2 Political Prisoners of Urmia Prison Transferred to Mahabad Prison

Hunger Strike at Uremia Prison Ended after 33 Days
HRANA News Agency – 27 political prisoners at Central Prison of Uremia ended their hunger strike after 33 days.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), political prisoners in Hall 12 at Uremia prison had been on hunger strike from 20th of November to protest against the lack of crime based wards separation and the pressures by the office of Ministry of Intelligence on prisoners who have certain convictions. Hunger Strikers in Critical Condition at Uremia Prison
HRANA News Agency – Despite deteriorating health condition of at least 13 striking prisoners at Uremia Central Prison, these prisoners continue their hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), out of 26 striking prisoners who are at 33rd day of their hunger strike, at least 13 are in critical health condition. According to the reports, on December 21st general health of two prisoners “Ali Ahmad Soleymani and Khazar Rasoulizadeh” have deteriorated and started seeing blood spots in their vomit. Although they have been sent to the prison clinic, they refused to be injected with fluids and returned to the general ward later. 8 Hunger Strikers of Uremia Prison Sent to Clinic
HRANA News Agency – Eight political prisoners on hunger strike in Central prison of Uremia were sent to the prison clinic due to serious health condition, however after twenty-two day prisoners still continue on hunger strike in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), eight political prisoners of Central Prison of Uremia named Alireza Rasooli, Ali Ahmad Soleiman, Ali Afshari, Shirkoo Hassanpour, Yousef Ka’kah Mami, Khazar Rasooli Ra’d, Mohammad Abdullahi, Abdulreza Rasooli, Sirwan Nazhavi were sent to the clinic because of serious physical condition due to hunger strike and clinic staff intended to give them IV fluids, but they refused to take it and despite their physical weakness, they were returned to their ward. Hunger Strike at Uremia Prison Is Still Going On
HRANA News Agency – Twentieth day of hunger strike of 26 political prisoners detained in the central prison of Uremia (Darya) passed while the authorities regardless of the strikers’ demands were trying to convince them to break their strike.

Pressure on hunger strikers at Uremia Prison has increased
HRANA News Agency – Authorities’ pressure to break the hunger strike of 28 political prisoners detained in the central prison of Uremia (Darya) has increased.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Saturday, 6th December, Intelligence Ministry representative summoned Osman Mostafapour, one of the prisoners in the prison of Uremia to the security office and asked him to stop hunger strike by disport from the strikers. 3 Kurdish political prisoners transferred to ward 12 of Uremia Prison
HRANA News Agency – Faroogh Samani, Alireza Rasooli and Khezr Rasool Morovat were transferred to hall 12 of central prison of Uremia.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Faroogh Samani, Alireza Rasooli and Khezr Rasool Morovat who were confined in Section 4 of the Uremia Central Prison with the ordinary and dangerous prisoners, were transferred to clause 12 which is for the political prisoners.
It is to say, «Faroogh Samani» an Artist from Mahabad was arrested by the IRGC forces and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in early March last year.
While this Kurdish artist was arrested “Farzad Samani” his brother was arrested for unknown reasons a little earlier. Farzad Samani was convicted to 3 years and half imprisonment.
Khezr Rasool Morovat was arrested and convicted to 5 years imprisonment in early March 2013.
