A judicial authority visited the Sunni hunger strikers

HRANA News Agency – “Toorag” the political deputy prosecutor of Tehran and Evin prison’s chairperson has visited the prisoners who are on hunger strike.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the political deputy prosecutor of Tehran and Evin prison’s court chairperson, with the name of Toorag, visited the Sunni prisoners for the first time during last 57 days and practically negotiated with them. No prison visit for 6 Sunni prisoners of Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – The judicial authorities are depriving the Sunni prisoners of Evin prison from having prison visits.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the families of 2 Sunni prisoners of ward 350 of Evin prison have asked the prosecutor to let them visit their loved ones, however the prosecutor did not allow them. Two poets are under arrest

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Mousavi and Fatemeh Ekhtesari, the post-modern poets are under arrest since 24 days ago.

Arash Sharifi is transferred to Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sharifi, the death row Sunni prisoner is transferred from Kashan central prison to Evin prison in Tehran.

Sunni hunger strikers are in critical condition

HRANA News Agency – The six Sunni prisoners of Ghezelhesar prison, who were sentenced to death, are suffering from disturbed vision and kidney bleeding, on their 55th days of hunger strike.

2 Kurdish civilians are sentenced to life-long imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – The court of Salmas has sentenced 2 citizens of this city to life-long imprisonment on charge of supporting the Kurdish opposition group of PJAK.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the court has sentenced Saber Mamedi, 38, the son of Ashad and Nazmin Heydari, 40, the son of Soltan both from Derik village of Salmas city to life-long imprisonment. 4 prisoners are hanged in Uremia

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Najjari, the former Sunni prisoner was summoned to the intelligence office and beaten and threatened there.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Najjari, the Sunni student who was released from Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj last September after 18 months of imprisonment was summoned to the intelligence office of Tekab on December 25, 2013. Families of Sunni prisoners visit the authorities of 3 major forces

HRANA News Agency – According to HRA-news agency reporters, families of four Sunni prisoners – Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Mollyi, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani who have been sentenced to death, visited the authorities of three major forces – parliament, presidency, and justice. They handed in some letters to these authorities.

 

The families first visited Sunni representatives of the parliament on Wednesday, 25, December, 2014. They also visited the office of president without receiving a clear answer to their questions about the situation of their beloved prisoners. Then, they were able to visit Ali Younesi, the special advisor of the president on the rights of religious and ethnic minorities. During the visit, they submitted their requests, asking for justice and fair trial for their imprisoned family members.
