Imprisonment sentences for 2 student activists in Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Amir Nazeri and Afshin Barzegar Jamshidi, the student activists of Tabriz University, have been sentenced to 6 months in prison, by judge Shokoohtazeh, in branch 104 of Tabriz criminal court.

 

Naghi Mahmoudi, the attorney lawyer, told to HRANA’s reporter: “These two student activists, align with Arash Mohammadi, had been arrested in a gathering in the evening of June 15, 2013 by IRGC and were released after two days, on a 10 million Toman bail”. Houtan Dolati is in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Despite being under arrest for more than seven months, Houtan Dolati is still in uncertain situation in prison and suffers from physical issues.

No news from seven sentenced to execution Sunni prisoners’ location

HRANA News Agency – There is no news of seven Sunni prisoners who were kept lately in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj.

Said Naimi is in critical condition in Tabriz prison

HRANA News Agency – Said Naimi, the civil right activist that has been transferred to Tabriz prison due to announcement of his sentence, is in bad condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Said Naimi is transferred to ward 11. These wards are used for keeping violent criminals and even rural Tabriz’s criminals, are exiled to them and have very poor and dangerous condition. An imprisoned lawyer is hospitalized in Tehran heart hospital

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Seifzade the imprisoned lawyer in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj has been hospitalized in Tehran heart hospital since Tuesday.

A Juvenile prisoner will be hanged in a week in Uremia

HRANA News Agency – A prisoner who committed murder while he was a juvenile will be hanged next week in Uremia central prison.

 

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ahmad Shafiekhani the prisoner in Uremia prison is from Boukan and sentenced to execution in 2010 on charge of murder as he was arrested in 2009. HRANA News Agency – Fatemeh (Houri) Ziyaei Azad, the political activist and former prisoner of 80s, is released from women`s ward of Evin prison last Thursday.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this political prisoner, who has passed her jail time in a bad physical and health condition, due to her age and her MS disease, has been released on Thursday October 17 morning.
