Three Kurds are in danger of Imminent execution

HRANA News Agency – Execution verdict of three Kurds confirmed and enforcement verdicts’ section of Oroumiyeh prison received the verdicts which increased worries about their imminent execution.

Ibrahim Isapour, Semko Nezhavi and Saman Nasim are the three Kurds in Oroumiyeh prison who sentenced to death and after the confirmation by supreme court they’re in danger of imminent execution.

Girls students of Tehran university were beaten on March 8

HRANA News Agency – On March 8th of 2013 some unknown men broke the windows of Chamran girls dormitory of Tehran university.

According to the report of Daneshjoonews, this happens after the protest of the students in front of the dormitory right after issuing the new rule as students are not allowed to enter the dorm after 9:30 P.M. .

Five labor activists arrested in Sanandaj

HRANA News Agency – On Thursday March 7th of 2013 five of labor activists arrested in Sanandaj.

According to a report of coordinating committee to help form workers’ organization website, on Thursday around 6 O’clock five of the labor activists and members of coordinating committee were arrested at their homes through invasion of Sanandaj Etela’at agents.

Iranian Ahwazi Arab Citizens Sentenced to Death Begin Hunger Strike

Two Kurdish Journalists arrested

HRANA News Agency – Khosro Kurdpoor the manager of Moukrian news agency and Ghasem Ahmadi the editor of quarterly Rojav were arrested on Thursday March 7th of 2013 in Mahabad.
Masoud Kurdpoor, Khosro’s brother confirmed the detention news for BBC Persian and said “Etela’at showed up with judicial verdict, arrested my brother and confiscated his personal belongings such as laptop, cellphone and his books.”

Two cultural activists arrested

HRANA News Agency – Kaihan Azizi and Davoud Ghaffari, two Kurdish cultural-literary activists summoned by Paveh Etela’at and detained.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these two cultural-literary activists arrested on charge of writing announcement in Kurdish one month ago for a Kurdish writer passing away. They were summoned and detained right after a complaint by Molla Ghader Ghaderi the envoy of Iranian supreme leader in Paveh

“The named persons issued a Kurdish announcement in a local funeral which was not included any name of Islam and sacraments. These cultural invasions will weakened Shiite Islam and Imam Khomeini’s goals”, The envoy of Ali Khameneie complaint included.

This cleric made the Etela’at repressions on cultural-political activists easier in Paveh through his speeches, intimidations and threatens in Paveh.

This happens while last week in his sermon this cleric challenged the new families way of naming their kids in Kurdish and not Islamic names and called the new generation of girls and boys with Kurdish names as depraved, strayed and SMS exchangers.

After his insulting, wave of cyber protests started on facebook and the other social networks as people believe the envoy of Ali Khameneie crossed the boundaries and interfered personal affairs.

Cleric’s supporters named the comment makers as foreign agents and west mercenaries and threatened them to remove their comments, but the opponents believe the speeches of this cleric is anti-culture and violations on human and civil rights.

 

Zia Nabavi transferred to unknown location

HRANA News Agency – Security agents transferred Seyyed Zia Nabavi the imprisoned exiled student from Ahvaz prison to unknown location.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from JARAS, Tuesday morning the security agents summoned Zia Nabavi from Karoon prison of Ahvaz, took him away with themselves and inspected all of his personal belongings.

Asadollah Hadi is suffering of digestive system disease

HRANA News Agency – Asadollah Hadi the political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison is suffering of digestive system disease.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this political prisoner who had heart surgery recently, now because of the negligence in his medical treatment process is suffering of kidney-stone and digestive system problems in gut.
This political prisoner has various physical diseases which unable him to be in prison anymore and his medical dossier must be investigated in medical committee to consider his tolerance of imprisonment.
He is hospitalized because of heart surgery in the air force hospital.

Amnesty- Iran must release journalists detained in newspaper office raids

Twelve journalists were arrested in Iran this weekend

HRANA News Agency– Amnesty International -Iran must release all journalists being held solely for carrying out their legitimate work, Amnesty International urged after at least 14 reporters were arrested in the past three days amid police raids on newspaper offices.

The journalists are reportedly accused of cooperating with “anti-revolutionary” Persian-language media organizations outside Iran.

Continuing the prevention of Mousavi and Rahnavard to contact their children

HRANA News Agency– Total prevention of call contact between Mousavi and Rahnavard with their daughters is still continuing and these two besieged are not allowed to be informed about anything related to their children.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from Kalemeh website, Zahra Rahnavard confirmed on the call with her mother on last Tuesday that they are not allowed to have any contact with their daughters.
