A Juvenile Offender on Death Row in Ardabil Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mehrab Eyvazi, juvenile offender from Ardabil was arrested at the age of 17 with nine other defendants. Mr. Eyvazi was accused of participation in kidnapping and rape. He was severely beaten at the police station and was threatened with rape by the police officer while he was naked in front of the camera. Mr. Eyvazi was sentenced to death, despite his young age. He believes that the verdict has been issued just based on his confessions which have been obtained while he was denied to access his family and lawyer and was subjected to torture and ill-treatment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), according to two relevant incidents, a case with 10 defendants was opened in the judicial district in Ardabil, in addition to the plaintiff, at least 4 defendants were under the age of 18 years. Annual Report on Execution in Iran – 2017
HRANA – On the anniversary of the International Day of Fighting against People’s Execution, The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists in Iran publishes an annual report on executions in Iran. This report is intended to provide visibility to the dire situation where thousands of people are awaiting execution. The present report concerns the individuals executed in the one year period from 10 October 2016 until the beginning of October 2017 and refers to at least 508 people executed in different parts of Iran by hanging. The report shows a rise by about 1% in the number of executions compared to the same period last year. Most of these individuals had been condemned to death in unfair courts and deprived of access to lawyers. Moreover, this report shall not be considered an accurate and comprehensive estimate since the Iranian government has placed enormous restrictions on human rights related activities and independent human right organizations. 3 Political Activists under Pro-longed Detention in Arak
HRANA News Agency – Bijan Kalngari, former political prisoner in the 1980s, along with two of his nephews who were kept at the intelligence office in Arak since July 26, 2017, were transferred to the Central Prison in Arak after almost two weeks of interrogations. These people, who are in a state of legal uncertainty, are still deprived of having a lawyer by the court’s refusal.

Soheil Arabi Beaten by IRGC Forces in Ward 2-A
HRANA News Agency – Soheil Arabi, prisoner of conscience who is serving the fourth year of his sentence in Evin prison, was transferred to ward 2-A in Evin prison at the same time as his wife was arrested. During his presence in the IRGC ward, this prisoner has been beaten continuously and has been suffering from chronic headaches, particularly as a result of blows by the interrogation team, which has caused him more vision problems in the past few days.

No Information about Arrested Arab Civilians of Ahwaz
HRANA News Agency – Ahwaz intelligence officers had arrested a number of Arab citizens living in various cities of Khuzestan in June. Despite passage of a few months since the arrest, there is still no information about them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the intelligence forces had arrested a number of Sunni citizens in Hamidieh of Ahwaz in June. Osman Mostafapour Deprived of Furlough and Parole after Serving 27 Years
HRANA News Agency – Osman Mostafapour, prisoner in Urmia Central Prison, who is in his twenty-seventh year of imprisonment, has been deprived of having furlough or parole.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), over the past month, Osman Mustafapour, political prisoner in Ward 12 of Urmia Central Prison, has requested prison’s judge for a furlough permission but it has been denied. The Latest List of the Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – In women’s ward of Evin prison, there are many mothers who are imprisoned with political and security charges. They are being kept in an inappropriate condition and without having sufficient phone call time, and very limited visits. The condition of this ward resulted in spreading of women and different diseases among the prisoners.

New Details about Arash Sadeghi’s Medical Condition
HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi’s long hunger strike followed by medical deprivation has created irreparable complications. Mr. Sadeghi is still unable to digest food and has to take medicine for his condition. This is while Sarallah base of the IRGC continues to sabotage any progress in his medical treatment and impose heavy limitations on it. He is not given a medial furlough and hospitalization is being denied. Adding to all these issues, some reports are surfacing that his medical records and documents might be missing.

Mohammadsaber Malekraeisi Sent Back to Ardabil Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mohammadsaber Malekraeisi, Baluchi political prisoner, who is serving the 8th year of his sentence, was transferred to Ardabil prison, after unexpectedly having been sent to ward 209 of Evin prison for three months.
